I have had the best experience learning the process and skills of the architecture of sewing. From pattern drafting to sizing and hand sewing, I am working to create from sketch to wearable clothing. Sheila meets you where you are and elevates your competency, correctly. I appreciate how she cuts through 'the noise' to provide the right learning environment for me to grow to an advanced level in an inspired personalized way.

I've been training under Sheila for almost 2 years now. She pays such close attention to detail, is a wealth of knowledge and super fun and professional to train with! I highly recommend beginners all the way to experienced students to train with Sheila.

I have always wanted to design clothing and create my own patterns. Together Sheila and I have brought dozens of my designs to life. I thought I was an experienced seamstress but the techniques I have learned from Sheila has taken me to a new level. So now, not only can I create patterns, adjust and adapt commercial patterns but I am also a more efficient seamstress. I enjoy my craft more than ever. Sheila's studio is a magical place where my life long dream of being a designer has come true. If you are even mildly interested in clothing design I highly recommend you invest in lessons from Sheila and her amazing team.

Before meeting with Sheila 8 months ago, I couldn't even thread a sewing machine. We spent our first few classes working through the sewing basics, and then she turned to me and said "Now, what do YOU want to learn?". Since then, she has taught me pattern drafting and how to bring my very own designs to life. Sheila is patient, understanding and is always willing to work at my pace. She is not only an incredible instructor but also has the best sense of humour/personality. Sheila has been an amazing part of my growth in sewing and design and I am confident that anyone else who meets with her will have the same experience.

Sheila has a very efficient way of making sewing easy and fun, I have attended a full year at her studio, and I have learned a lot of skills and it has always been a very positive experience for me. Her studio is well-equipped, and well organized, the atmosphere is relaxing and full of energy. I highly recommend having a one on one lesson with her!

Sheila has been such a wonderful mentor and teacher! I started classes with her 4 months ago and have been going 1-2 times per week. She really tailors her lessons to your needs and helps in any way she possibly can. My experience with her has been fantastic and i highly recommend her to both beginners and those looking to further develop their sewing skills. Basically she is a magical Unicorn.

Sheila's classes are great! She is patient and methodical and also makes the experience enjoyable. I recommend her classes to everyone, whether beginner like I was or advanced. The clothes that she's sewn herself are a huge inspiration to take more classes and improve my sewing skills.
