I have come here a few times for walk in. If you get here late,the wait time can be really long. But if you can get here by 9am,the wait is shorter. Regarding the doctors' service,it was okay. The drugs recommended in the different instances worked. In one instance,there was no need for any prescription. I have come here with my children and the doctors were nice to them. I have no issues whatsoever with the doctors.
Wait time for the walk in was great, but that’s where it ends. I really needed medicine for laryngitis as I can’t possibly do my job without being able to speak, and the nature of my job is very tricky for sick days. Refused to give medicine because “it causes side effects”. I’d be fine with that unless they were potentially dangerous side effects. He did not specify whether they were. Just said he wouldn’t prescribe it but another doctor might. He said it would get better on its own within two weeks. I can’t wait two weeks, and neither can my work!! When I tried to nicely explain this, he just shrugged and gave me this get lost kind of attitude. I was in there for no more than two minutes, he wouldn’t help me, and was very condescending and rude about it.
The worst doctor's clinic I visited in my life. The receptionist was nice but Dr. SHAZIA ALI is the worst. She is very RUDE!!!!!!!! and she doesn’t allow you speak and explain your problem. She doesn’t care about the patients she only is interested in money. In my opinion she shouldn’t be a doctor. Do not waste your time in this clinic.
If you are looking for a doctor to be able to book in a timely fashion then I would look elsewhere. You often have to do a walk in appointment to get in. The doctors tend to be quick and efficient when you get in to see them. Booking an appointment is usually arduous as you wait on hold for sometimes up to 30 mins.
I have been very happy with the services at Shawnessy Medical Clinic and Dr. Ali! She is timely, very friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Ali if you are looking for a family doctor.
Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Checked me in within 2 mins of entering, got into the room by 10 mins. walked out happy less than 20 min visit. Come here if you want quick, friendly and thorough experience.
Shazia Ali should not be a doctor. She does not listen to our concerns and is rude. Patients are supposed to be heard and treated with respect and love.
This was the 8th clinic I tried out of desperation to get a walk in appointment to all of which other clinics said they were done taking walk in’s for the day- around 4 pm. When my husband called, the receptionist was so friendly and helpful and said they would take us as a walk in. I was going to have to take my son to urgent care and I was saved hours of waiting because they were able to see us. I was treated so kindly from the receptionist, doctor and the pharmacist. So many times I’ve gone to medical clinics/urgent cares only to be treated not very kindly, or to have doctors not really care. You will be treated professionally and respectfully here!
Receptionist is extremely rude. I went there with my driver’s license and AB Health Care number and she would not allow me to see a Dr. As I didn’t have my actual card. I told her I’ve been providing my license and number for years and have never had a problem. Went to a different clinic and Dr told me they were not allowed to turn me away as I had all the info they needed.
Dr Ali, is the most arrogant and judging dr. who doesn't take time to listen at all. Please never go yo her gor serious health issues and doubt her expertise. Me and my family have been going to this clinic and our family dr Hawegi is really great, but needed a woman dr, and saw dr Ali for few appointment and worst existence ever.
