Pontiac Hospital

The wait was long but not as bad as other places I've been. The staff were very friendly.

I have used the hospital's service many times as I have a summer home in Bristol. Yesterday I went in with a Nail in the side of my knee from a nail gun. As always Fantastic service, caring staff, bilingual staff and very professional and comforting service from the medical staff. Special thanks to Dr. Wilson and her attending Interns.

Living in the Pontiac most of my life the Shawville Hospital built by the people here for the people here I believe has done its best to serve us best it can. Thru my many visits over the years some not so severe the service has been incredibly great, In a situation where i had lost hearing in one ear. Dr Lie had had an extremely difficult evening with some severe trauma patients and waiting from 7- 11pm to get into emerge was understandable and She had no reason to, but she apologized for the long wait. And diagnosed the situation and prescribed meds in the morning brought the hearing back in hours. All in, all the emergency staff have always been there for everyone who is seriously ill and get to the patients as quickly as possible in priority. In fact my life has likely been extended due to them as last Valentines day after my heart situation. And emergency heart operation. Sincere thanks to you al, much love and admiration to all the Hospital staff for the pleasant care of our families over the years. Barry Beardsley

Long wait when there's barely anyone else in waiting room. Staff don't seem to know what they're doing. Not English friendly.

Like any other hospital in this country, treated like a number not a person, waiting 6hrs to be served is to long for the taxes I pay! Didn’t even look like there was an employee (dr) on staff!
