Disappointed that the clerk did not give me the 30% discount when product was originally purchased product scanned at wrong price, so returned to store and asked for item to be fully 100% discounted. New Clerk would not, claiming it’s the clerks fault, not computer fault for wrong price charged. Yet when item scanned, wrong price was charged! And then had to go to PC to try and get my 1500 points back! I did purchase this product, but at reduced price
Vegetable quality always top teir, wish they had a slightly wider variety of fresh meats, but I get it, no frills.
I find more reasonable beef and chicken and some fruit at Walmart . You can not find any %50 off items at this store so I will switch to Walmart .
I was in Thunder Bay recently, medical travel from Terrace Bay ~ stopped in to Shawn's No Frills before leaving city for home on January 31st, 2023.nI'd had surgery the day before but felt not too bad that next morning ~ my travel companion was shopping elsewhere close by~ divide and conquer ~ He is generally with me when i shop but I told him i was only getting a few things~ I thought I wouldn't be too long in there ~ famous last words ~nI found that, as i went through the aisles, i kept finding products, staples, with prices that were 'too good to pass up' ~ i decided to use up Optimum points ~ and sort of 'go for it'. On this day, a mammoth grocery order overwhelmed me at the checkout ~ I realized i should have eaten something before i went to No Frills & started feelingnI asked the lady at checkout if there was a possibility to get help bagging the grocery order ~nShe was very proficient and skilled by the way ~ but i didn't get her name. She flagged my request for support and a gentleman who happened to be in line waiting for my order to be rung through, stepped in to save the day.nHe started bagging the items ~ he was kind and i felt no pressure to go fast at all. A very genuine person.nnI didn't realize until later that the gentleman from the grocery line who helped me, worked there ~ He'd been in line to purchase a small something for his break I think which definitely would have cut into his break time.nAnyway, thankyou Shawn ~ loading my groceries in the store and then unloading them into into my vehicle was majorly appreciated.‍‍nAnd it was like minus 35 C outside ~ oh my gosh good thing you had on that Soo Greyhounds toque ~nMade it back to Terrace Bay in one piece ~ Son unloaded the groceries ~nSee you guys in May ~ #NoFrillsnCheers eh
You can find almost every food product at an affordable price and fresh too.
