Specifically reviewing the fresh made-to-order sandwiches you can get from this grocer. Absolutely delicious fresh cut meats that you can customize to your liking. I love how everything is locally sourced even to the sauces. You are able to customize every part of this sandwich and the variety is limitless. Price is by weight and makes for a quick and affordable meal. The service was quick and very friendly. Great with answering questions and tending to what we needed!
If you are seeking any deli item, from cheese to cold cuts to steak, this is thee grocery store in northwestern Ontario. Full of italian food items, small but mighty produce section, sweet treats, snacks items, fresh bread, and love. In the freezer sections: I highly recommend their homemade meatballs, meat lasagna, bake at home croissants by Bakeshop on Boundary, etc etc. I really don’t ever want to imagine Thunder Bay without it. So grateful for this family-owned shop!
Maltese Grocery is a gem in our community! The store-made items and meat counter are top notch. There are so many varieties and interesting items you dont see anywhere else. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and I love the locally sourced items that are available. It's a pleasure shopping here, and I recommend for anyone looking for truly gourmet items to stop in.
