If you want full flavors of Mediterranean food, this place has it. The Crew was super friendly and helpful with making our choice easy. We ordered the rice plates and you can feed 2 people with the giant portion. This place should be more busy and food came out rather quickly. My wife who normally doesn't like lamb was actually surprised and finished all the lamb on the plate. She highly recommends this place now. Let's just say we will definitely be visiting again and trying everything on the menu.
That will be the 1st and last time I ever eat at that place. The food is disgusting The extras are watered down. The wait time is too much, If you watch them while they cook you'll see how unsanitary this place is. Someone should call the health department there are so many violations here. Is super disappointing, All the positive reviews are probably just from friends and family. As someone who made the mistake of eating here then getting sick for the next day. Do yourself all a favor and skip this place
Ordered the Family Mixed Grill to-go which came up to around $100 with tax. I was suprised it only took 15 min for them to complete my order. On the menu, it's stated to serve 4-6 people, but after my family of six ate to our to hearts content, there was still plenty of food left over. Granted, we were able to stretch the meal with a little extra bread and rice that we had at home. The portions were generous and the food was flavorful. The price is definitely worth it and I highly recommend! The next time we go here, we'll be trying their french fries and hotsauce.
Saw pictures from other reviews of the mixed grill platter, and it looked good with the hummus and tabouli, so I got it as well. Prices were $4 more expensive than the website menu showed, and I didn't get any hummus or tabouli, just some blah assorted veggies. Would have been nice to have the hummus for the meat. The meat was okay, slightly dry and not the most seasoned, but it was still good. Definitely not worth $19 though. Found a short black hair in the food too.. i have long, auburn hair
I met the owner and some of the crew members today, they hooked me and my man up on a free #lambchop meal, with rice and a delicious topping of cucumber salad on top. He gave it to us on the house! He also gave us another sweet deal to go! A gyro wrap and chicken wrap meal complete with fries and a drink. The food is worth every penny spent! Very hot, fresh and delicious! The family that works there alongside him, were all, extremely friendly and gracious of our presence. My new go to spot every time I visit Sunray shopping center. 5 STARZ Place is clean and has awesome jars of jams, olives, erbs, oils and more for sale.
I went there with a colleague of mine because he was traveling, tired and hungry. I was not hungry but I wanted him to try Shawarma. We ordered the shawarma platter for two which has four shawarma wraps two beef and two chicken. I thought I won’t finish one I was not hungry. I ended up finishing the two along with the fries! The food was soooooo good and the service was fast and the family running the business is super friendly. They offered us a treat on the house as we were leaving and that was the cherry on top of the cake to make the experience even sweeter. Do not hesitate to try out this amazing place . —- An update for the review above which was written in January 2022: As I don’t live in the twin cities, I have been longing to come back here to have another meal at Shawermin but I was surprised that the latest reviews were not great. I was hesitant to go again but I took my chances. I made sure to speak with them about the reviews before I order and I was told that they had hired a wrong guy to run the place but he was let go and assured me that I will be happy with their food just like my first experience and they delivered … I still highly recommend this place
First time here today and tried a mixed platter and a chicken wrap. The mixed platter was to try a little bit of everything and the chicken wrap was recommended to me! The service was so friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and fresh. So happy I found this spot!
I always come here for the Chicken Shawarma wrap. It is delicious. I love the authentic decor of the place. The staff are very nice, definitely coming back again

This place was good when they first opened. The last couple of times including tonight that I have ordered from there has been bad. The meat is dry and the rice is hard. The tzazki sauce has been watered down. They have lost my business.Food: 1/5
