We were on our way to Boustan when we stumbled across this place. Fresh, great prices, large portions, SO tasty! You can fries to your wrap- heavenly! We will be back! Vegetarian options: The falafel is awesome! So tasty! Frah veggies
Shawarmaz UQAM is our go-to spot for shawarma, and they nailed it with their catering service for our recent event. Being McGill students, we knew we couldn't go wrong with Shawarmaz, and we were right! The whole team at Shawarmaz UQAM was incredibly friendly, with Mohammad standing out for his exceptional service. He guided us through the catering options, offered fantastic suggestions, and went the extra mile to ensure our event was a hit. The food was outstanding, just as we expected – bursting with flavor and authenticity. Our event attendees couldn't stop raving about it. Huge thanks to Mohammad and the Shawarmaz UQAM team for making our event memorable and delicious. Hands down, the best Shawarmaz in town!
I didn't believe the reviews, but I can now confirm that this is the best shawarma I've ever had. It takes time to make it, but all good things take time. The cooks work fast and efficiently even under pressure. The chicken sandwich was warm, spicy, perfect.Food: 5/5
Good quality food all around and it tasted great. Will definitely come back. My friend and I had the shawarma wraps with a side salad and fries or potatoes.
This location is close to hotel where I was at so decided to visit. I was skeptical based on all the five star reviews and only 1 review posted. BUT Confirming this is a five star meal. Ordered the mix saj wrap and large chicken poutine. The wrap was amazing the meat is flavourful and juice. We were suggested to add the pomegranate sauce as it goes well with the beef. Confirming this is a great suggestion and would highly recommend it. The poutine was with base of garlic fries. True cheese curds. Topped with crunchy pita like pieces. Just amazing. The chicken did get lost in all the flavour of potatoes. But yet would still highly recommend the poutine without the meat. The place was clean The service was good Would recommend and will come here again.
The dining experience offered mediocre food, and the service lacked a welcoming touch, coming across as more transactional than friendly. Regrettably, there were flies hovering over the food, and the staff's attempt at humor with police jokes in response to the situation was not well-received. All in all, the overall experience was far from satisfying.
I had a very good shawarma at this place. The meat was tender and juicy, the pita was fresh and soft, and the sauce was flavorful and spicy. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves shawarma.Recommended dishes
I was starving, at 2:30 AM and I found Shawarmaz UQAM in front of me. I entered and looked around I saw the there place it was clean and the employees vibes was cool and chilled so I asked for meat shawrmah it was delicious with high protein, and I ordered falafel 4 pcs was hot and crunchy with some tahini sauce damn it was really like a hit back for me brought Alot of good memories from middle Eastern food I gave it solid 10/10 Because, of the way they made it. Thanks for the crew in the restaurant they ware all helpful with me and supportive for my food order on the counter "Narjis" with her vibes and the way she smile made everything easier enjoyable even in late night snack have more spices and taste way better than other fast food chains restaurants.
