Good vibes, a little bit smaller than expected and more pricey , but great designs and atmosphere. Service is great, a bit on the pricier side on Friday the set menu is 70$ but has good portions and includes the evening event, singer starts around 9:30 pm, not sure when the belly dancer starts as at ~10:45pm that part didnt start yet. Parking is extremely difficult, best to park at the nearby open private parking. Kid-friendliness: Not for kids at dinner time. Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access.
Good place for a traditional Lebanese experience with good food and nice party. The service was friendly and the food was good. The belly dancer, singer, and DJ were all great adding more fun to the experience. Recommend for a traditional Lebanese dance night.
The place is beautiful. Loved the vibe. The servers were all very nice. But our server wasn't able to explain to us items on the menu, which wasn't really very helpful. Appetizers were all delicious. Mains were a bit disappointing. If I go again I'd be ordering many appetizers to share and skip mains. It's also a bit on the expensive side.
The decor is very cute and very creative with a lot of classic objects and photos of singers. It is a casual outing, and is on crescent, so keep that in mind when you come for a visit. We were seated promptly and ordered a variety of items to try out from every section of the menu. The portions were larger than other places, so unless you’re very hungry or are many, I wouldn’t order many dishes. As with many middle eastern places, the dishes are meant to be shared. There were a lot of families and groups in the restaurant listening to the live music. In comparison to other Syrian places around town and what we’ve had abroad, this place is just ok. Our favorite dishes were the mansaf, kibbeh and batersh. We didn’t enjoy the tabouleh, zulof and fish dish as much. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian Mezes and dishes Parking: It’s quite hard to find parking on crescent or the side streets but parking on Sherbrooke may be possible with some luck and paid parking a few blocks always may be possible Kid-friendliness: I saw a few tweens/teens but this wouldn’t be a place to bring a young child in a stroller especially at night as it tends to get very loud dj, loud music and loud live music Wheelchair accessibility: It is a few steps below the ground level and the door would not accommodate. Wheelchair
This place is amazing! The food is authentic, good portions. The atmosphere is really cosy. If you’re ever in Montreal, you should definitely give this place a visit.
BE CAREFUL! They say that they only charge on Fridays and Saturday for a band fee but I was unfortunately charged with 90$ Band fee on a Sunday 6x15… Our bill came down to 375$ for 6 people which is extremely expensive due to the band fee charge that was unexpected. I would not return due to this but the food was very good, vibe was beautiful with oud music and the service is fast and very good. Very unfortunate for the additional unexpected fee.
It was a good experience. Amazing artists, good food, but they were not serving water often 1 bottle for 10. They gave us a dish of ice cream for free. However, I found it a little expensive. The shoe costs $15 per person and they don't say that anywhere, they just put it on the bill. It's ok, the artists where wonderful, but they should have tell us up front or post it anywhere on their website. They could improve by adding pictures on the menu. We were not familiar with the names of the dishes and didn't know what we were ordering.
That's my experience Location in downtown Montreal is excellent. You may have an issue with parking only, but if you like to walk, it is easy to find. Decorations and layout, one of the best decorations, mixed between past in modern way. The place is cozy and romantic. Decorations are exceptional and wonderful. Cleanliness is within expectations. Time waiting to be seated was immediately. Time waiting to be served is excellent Time waiting to serve the order was within expectations quick enough. Services were excellent I liked the staff, they are welcoming with a big smile . And staff well knowledgeable about the menu and can explain the Ingredients well. Food is very tasty and delicious and rich, we ate and we felt full. I had to walk afterward Prices are within expectations and affordable. My conclusion is that on my next visit to Montréal I will come to visit. I would say thanks for the cook, waitress and the staff
I really love this place. The decor is great and the food is amazing. We had a chance to try a bit of everything and were very happy to have found this place. The salad is great and all mazzas had an amazing flavour to each of them.Recommended dishesZulof, Fattouche 1 Fattoush, Hummus with Beef and Pine Nuts
