This place was magical. The setting was calming but at the same time a great place to have fantastic food and connect with others. The owner is so kind and respectful. He was also so welcoming the second you came in. I am Tunisian, and eating the food made me feel like I was in Tunis. 100% recommended coming to this restaurant. Kid-friendliness: So respectful and kid friendly. With a comforting atmosphere and setting.
This place is a must go in Montreal! Ordered the kafteji pictured, merguez couscous, and some brik. All of these were absolutely excellent! The fries were amazing as well! We live in Toronto and make sure to visit this place every time we are in Montreal! Dietary restrictions: Halal
Very nice Mediterranean food. Delicious, nice and clean. I highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Excellent food and very hospitable owner. A lot of Tunisians eating there which tells you the food is authentic Food: 5/5
As a person of Tunisian origin, I can confirm the food is authentic, fresh, and tasty. Very kind staff and I went there 3 days in a row while I was visiting Montreal because of the quality. The prices are a little steep, but it’s worth it. The food makes me homesick it’s that good. Highly recommend.
Great homestyle Tunisian food and good prices. I'd highly recommend the kammounia for veal in cumin red sauce. The couscous and brik are also excellent.Food: 5/5
Great Tunisian food! Very flavorful couscous. My son loved the chicken sandwich and the fries were great. Friendly and helpful service. Amazing value.
Absolutely fantastic North African food in a no-frills setting. The same guy has run the place for 19 years, and it shows. The Couscous Royale pictured is a bargain at $33 CAD and is more than enough food for two. Barley soup is my grandmother’s favorite—only $6 CAD. This is the only restaurant I miss when I leave MTL.
Loved the Lablebi. Perfect hot meal for cold winter. Restaurant owner was also super cool and friendly. Felt at home Food: 5/5
Surprisingly very nice and tasty. But price wise a bit Expensive for 3 people
