Used to be a fan of this place a few years ago. Tried recently, and was quite disappointed. First of all, my shawarma pocket was ripped which made it hard to consume. If I had it packed to go, I feel like the sauces would’ve spilled out by the time I got home. Worst of it all was the fact that the onions were extremely spicy/raw. I took a bite and the only thing I could taste were the onions hot sauce taste was negligible due to onions. Sadly will not be returning to this establishment any time soon…
For vegetarians it’s a solid three star. Made fresh, nice service however the issue with the falafel is that, though crispy, it can be sometimes dry, add a pita which is the dryest of the carbs and you get Drysville. Even though I asked for multiple saucy things: garlic sauce, tahini, hummus, hot sauce…still dry therefore only mildly delicious. I think if they packaged the sauces to go, I could dip the pita in a tasty sauce and problem solved. May return to test out this theory…
I've been here twice now, and can say that I am not a fan. I thought the hummus wasn't that good on my first visit, but when Osmow's, next door, was super busy I decided to give it another try. On the second visit, even though the place was not that busy, the staff rushed me, and didn't even give me options of sauces, and just added what they thought I would like. The shawarma did not look fresh. The pita definitely was not fresh as it broke apart. Overall the taste was not that great. I would rather wait in line at Osmow's next door, then have this again.
Nice staff and fast service as well as clean space. We enjoyed our wraps and falafel platter. Good quality, tasty, and affordable. However, I didn’t like the baqlava’s taste and it wasn’t rich in ingredients comparing to the price. Price range : $$ - Follow me for more reviews My Instagram: @mortgagebyarghavan
Good meal at very very fair prices. Very nice couple who run it, and the 4-people special is a very decent deal. I quite like their burgers too - all halal! Parking is a total nightmare though, so it's not the most convenient spot for a lunch break. Pity as the food and people are solid!
It's the worst shawarma I have ever tried!! The beef and chicken taste like beef sausage and chicken sausage, their salad is made of cabbage which would be great if they made coleslaw, definitely doesn't fit the name to what they serve, not sure if there are different kind of shawarma or different way to make the shawarma this one something else for sure
Best shawarmas in the town, owned by a very nice family. The place is super clean! High level of costumer service, and they gave me free soup!!! Highly recommended.
I went there today for my lunch and it was my first time there. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich. Th food was great, tasty chicken and different choices of toppings. Very very clean restaurant. Also they have very polite staff. Hundred percent going back there again!
A very sweet place with delicious food and shawarma. I tried the Persian Kebab wrap and their hamburger. Kebob wrap was delicious and made fresh. The burger was fresh and everything was perfect I only expected the bun to be toasted but that's fine with me. The person making the food is friendly and funny and the entire place looks very organized. I will be back again to try the rest of the menu. Great experience. Totally recommended.
I was suggested by my friend to come to try. Google said open at 12. I came 11:55 thought it will open soon. The guy came here at 12:10. Open the door, nothing prepaid. So I have to wait until 12:35 to get my food ready. Lol. Never come back.
