Shari's Cafe & Pies

It was not our waiters fault. He was good. I had to have him microwave my chicken fry dinner which he did. My daughters prime rib sandwich the meat cold like out of the refrigerator. She was afraid to send it back in case they would over heat it. I told the cashier and she very understanding. She told the manager and he took off our drinks. I did not expect that but I wanted them to be aware for the future customers to have hot food. Thank yoy.

I used to eat here so much in my younger years. However stopped after many bad service experiences. I would say service has gotten better and food/menu has changed quite a bit. They still have some of the classics but have now started offering new options to compete with newer restaurants. Food is still pretty good most of the time. Serving sizes are nice as well. Breakfast items are my favorite thing to get here. Atmosphere is relaxed and isn’t too busy except on Sunday afternoons. Parking is plentiful and I like the location right off the highway. Restroom is pretty clean too.

Note to self.... when you ask the waitress what soup she preferred and she says neither take her advice she works there but I ordered soup anyway and found out the hard way. I then ordered the prime rib dinner and it was suppose to comes with a baked potato that they were all out of so I got French fries. Prime rib and French fries lol... I should have kept driving....

We got breakfast there before the eclipse. The food was acceptable cafe food. We didn't get any pie. The staff was nice. If we're ever in the area again we'd probably go here again.

Good service, however was served a cold Apple pie last visit and don't order the steaks
