One of my to go restaurants to order food at. I've always ordered from Uber Eats but never actually been to the physical restaurant. Finally did the other day and I was not disappointed at all. The service was amazing and very friendly. The ambiance is cozy and I loved all of the decorations. This restaurant always keeps up with the quality of their food. A must try for people that want to try haitian food!

Food has that home made appeal and taste, really authentic Service is very friendly and promt, they were very helpful and patient when i was maki g a choice. Place is clean. I was in the neighbourhood for a dance festival, met with friends from NYC and the decor made us feel relaxed and the music got us dancing. Loved it! Great experience!

Just got delivery from this place and I can’t believe how much they cheated me. They advertise their plates as coming with banann peze and macaroni salad and didn’t give me either of them. I ordered an almost $7 container of pikliz from their épicerie section and they sent me what you see in the photo. About half of the other stuff I paid for was either missing or wrong. In the end, the food they did actually send me was average at best. Avoid this restaurant - I feel like I got scammed.

Cozy Haitian restaurant with great atmosphere. Food came out quickly and was delicious! Amazing flavor. The griot was so good!! They also have a tasty vegetarian option. Highly recommend!

The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The service is quick and the food is great. They serve big portion and I can rarely finish my meal in one sitting. I have always been satisfied with Shandmas. I cannot recommend it enough.

First time visit of many to come. Took my Jamaican Mother for her 80th birthday. Just a quiet mother daughter dinner and it was perfect. Mom loved the food and Soursop made in-House. Just perfect. Thanks Marie, Mama and Chef!Food: 5/5

the food was rotten... how can you serve customers rotten food?!?!?!? After eating this meal i felt sick and had to go to bed. Not only was the food horribly seasoned, but it also made me sick and had me feeling nauseous all night. 45 mins after not finishing my plat the house smelled like food that had gone sour, after looking through my kitchen and garbage to find the smell it came to my attention that it was the food we had ordered less than an hour ago. i try to avoid leaving bad reviews because business is business and we sometimes have days, but i cannot respect or even protect a business that doesnt take the time to care about customer health and safety. if i could give this place negative stars I would.
