It was a very bad experience. I ordered Caesar salad with salmon. When I came home and opened the food, I was surprised to see that the fish was burnt. Much of back of Salmon was burnt and all the sides were burned and a bite was torn and missing. When eating a salad, a big hair was wrapped around the salad. I paid $ 31 for a hairy salad and burnt fish.
I'm always there for the baked Brie. It's my favourite. You should go there around 5-6 pm if you want to be able to have a conversation with your friends. Around 9 the music gets a bit too loud. Service was nice, waiters are really fast.
We stumbled upon Shaker Gatineau when it reopened post-pandemic, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was superb, and the drinks were impressive. Over the years, we've hosted various celebrations there, thanks to their affordable yet top-notch menu and generous promotions for group dinners. Recently, we enjoyed a relaxed double date dinner, exploring new dishes and drinks. The timing of the food was perfect, allowing us to savor each course while enjoying conversation. The staff was attentive yet discreet, enhancing our experience. Shaker continues to impress us, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit, perhaps to enjoy their cool terrace on a hot day. Thank you, Shaker, for consistently providing exceptional service and keeping us hydrated with those phenomenal drinks.
Great place for cocktails with friends. Lots of options, including beers, wines, and shooters. Daily promotions on drinks. The food is good too. Mainly for burgers and tartares. And there is live entertainment on occasion. We did have to wait a while at the door though before someone greeted us; which seems to be a recurring critic in many reviews.
One of the worst experiences of my life. The restaurant wasn’t even full and our server barely acknowledge that we were there. We had to ask for utensils, more water and had to hunt him down for the bill.nFood was really dry, lacking of flavour and burnt. It took over an hour to receive 3 burgers and fish and chips.nnI am truly disappointed and will not be eating here again.
