I have to say, the Gatineau Poulet Rouge location really stands out compared to the Ottawa ones. The service here was noticeably better—staff were friendlier, more attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about the customer experience. The food itself was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor.nnThe only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a few browned pieces of lettuce in my bowl. Aside from that small detail, everything tasted great and I left very satisfied.nnI’ll definitely be coming back to this location—it’s worth the extra drive for the quality and care you get here!
I had such a great experience at Poulet Rouge! The food was fresh and delicious, the vibes were welcoming, and the staff were extremely friendly, professional, and attentive to what I wanted. Even though it was quite busy and a few tables hadn’t been cleaned right away, I completely understand it comes with the rush.nnI come from Ottawa, and honestly, Ottawa restaurants could learn a lot from the service here. The staff in Gatineau really go above and beyond, and it shows. Props to you guys for keeping such a high standard,l’ll definitely be back!
Huge shoutout to Poulet Rouge Gatineau for their incredible generosity! They sponsored my daughter’s swim team CNSL and provided the kids with a delicious, protein-packed lunch. It was exactly the fuel these young athletes needed after being in the water. My daughter savoured every single bite! It’s so wonderful to see a local business supporting youth sports. Thank you for fueling our champions!
Absolutely delicious chicken bowls and poutine. We tried the volcano and shisha flavors and both were equally delicious. The volcano had a bit of heat but not too much. A very healthy option and the servers were super sweet and friendly!
I absolutely love the food from this place and if you are picking the food up, this is a great choice for dinner but if you're ordering for delivery, be prepared to wait about an hour for delivery and pay an extra $15 - $20 for your order, the service fees are some of the highest I've seen and prices are inflated.nnEdit. October 1 2025. Unfortunately I have to adjust my previous review. I’m. It sure what happened but tonight the food was not up to expectations. The chicken was somewhat bland and pale and the fries were ice cold and only half a portion. Spent way too much money on this meal. Don’t order for delivery, go in so you can verify the quality.nnLove the food but the extra cost of ordering for delivery makes it impossible for me to give 5 stars.nnMy recommendation is for them to stop charging such high service fees and do better with getting the orders out the door.
