I walked in and was served immediately 1030am. I had a bunch of things to get complete and was dreading it, but it was so easy and quick! It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a service ontario, and I felt so relieved. Thank you to the lovely lady that helped me today!

Zero problem with the staff here so the review isn’t negative toward them, but waiting 2 hours to renew plates and then finding out that the dmv system was down for half of that time and They wouldn’t be able to help after all was very disappointing. The waiting area is also adorned with lots of service Ontario posters outlining all of their commitments to service that the staff simply aren’t equipped to even approach meeting… what can I say, government services living up to the reputation.

Easily the best experience I’ve ever had at a service Ontario. We were in and out super quick and the lady who helped us was extremely nice and went above and beyond!

Was in and out in 5 mins. Came at 3.45 pm. Amazing service. So glad that I left Toronto!!

I made an embarrassing mistake with my driver's license and it got me very worried. I went to this service Ontario location and reluctantly explained my mistake to the rep. She was super nice and confirmed to me that indeed I made the mistake but it was fixable. She spent 15 minutes in the back office supposedly talking to her manager and came back with a solution. I was really amazed by the helpful, courteous and understanding support that I received. I only walked away with a blush face and even had a laugh about my mistake. This rep had been working with service Ontario for many years so she was experienced in resolving complex problems. I'm thankful for the service!

Today I had occasion to call Service Ontario Peterborough. The rep that took my call Kaylee gave exceptional service, was respectful and professional. In these troubled times, it is so refreshing to know that service such as I received is still available.

My work requires me to visit many Service Ontario locations throughout Ontario so I have reasonable sense of what to expect in terms of documentation for various services and the general level of customer service one can expect. It appears to be a mission of this Service Ontario location to make life difficult for the public. Over the years, I've experienced everything from inconsistent Service charges to mistakes on health card applications to blatent racism. I would recommend visiting the location in lakefield. The quality of service is significantly better.

Had booked appointment for 315 and never got to counter until 340.. POINTLESS to make appointment

When we came the wait time was very short because it was only about half an hour before they closed. The lady who was at the greeting desk was nice. However the woman we dealt with was kind of rude and treated us like our request to transfer a license plate was a stupid thing to do in the first place.

Walked in and out in 16 mins. Very friendly staff
