This is one of the very good govt office I have visited coming in Canada so far.nNo line up at 10 ammaybe got luckynI went there before two weeks for our family passports and was welcomed nicely and also guided me for my required documents before heading towards windows.nnI was told by one of the lady that kids passport needs more documents but Mr. SUMIT whom I met in second meeting he helped me go ahead with kids landing documents and process went so smoothly. Now I am just waiting to receive them.nThank you so much once again SUMIT. So grateful for your help.

It was the last day to renew the dental coverage for my mom and sister and we were quite panicked by the situation.nnNancy was extremely friendly and helpful and directed us how and where we could use the workstation to process our renewal application online.nnWe were done in a short amount of time and did not have to wait to be seen by an officer since we did everything with the workstation.nnShout out to Nancy for being an amazing person and we are so thankful she was here for us!

Read reviews prior to coming and anticipated a line-up before opening so I showed up around 8am - maybe 10 people in front already lining up. When you enter, there’s only one person at the “welcome” desk before you get a number to wait for another desk to process your needs.nnThere could be a better system to process things quicker if there were more people at the first desk, however not a bad experience.nnIf you’re doing a passport renewal, just be advised this is not a passport office so it will take approximately 5-6 weeks to process, if you need your passport urgently then visit a passport office closest is STCnnI came at 8am and left at approximately 9:30am

On December 08/2025 i visited Markham Service Canada-5051 highway # 7 east and I would like to write about my experience.nnI would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service provided by Mr. Mackenzie i am not sure about spelling of his name at the Service Canada – Markham location. He was professional, patient, and extremely helpful throughout my visit.nnMr. Mackenzie took the time to clearly explain every step, answered all my questions, and made sure that my concerns were fully addressed. His friendly attitude and dedication to providing quality service truly made a difference.nnThank you, Mr. Meckanzie, for your outstanding assistance. Service Canada is fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and caring representative.

Total time spent at this location - about 1 hour at midday.nnArrived here this past Wednesday around 12.20 pm to do a passport application. The line at the welcome desk was short about 3 or 4 people waiting as there were 2 staff working. The wait inside after getting a number was around 35 minutes.nnI missed some things on my application so came back next day Thursday at 10 am and the welcome desk line was very long about 10 people waiting - line was past the door. The welcome desk staff was very patient but took a long time to answer questions, so there was no one waiting inside the office - everyone was standing in the line waiting to get a number! I managed to get a number after 20 minutes of standing in the line and was able to get my application processed in about 15 mins after that. The welcome desk line was still long but at moving steadily as another staff member had added.
