Story

Welcome to the Serpent River Campground page.
We are a family campground and pet friendly.
We have large pull-thu sites that can accommodate large rv's to smaller motor homes. Tenting with water and electric, primitive tenting, cabins. An in-ground pool. Playground for the children. We are situated right on the Serpent River, 1 km from Lake Huron. We also have a boat launch. Any questions feel free to call us toll free @ 1-877-849-2210.

Clean campground. Pool could be heated with the sun with black tubing but it is very clean. Staff here is very nice and many activities for kids. The train that comes by twice a day is not disruptive but rather an entertainment. Nice boat launch. Cabins are cozy. Small with just the bare minimum to sleep but not that you would need more. The general store Cary many different things and they also make very good pizza that is delivered right to your lot.

Great family friendly campground. The owners were super nice and accommodating. They deliver pizza and wood right to your site. Bathrooms were immaculate. We had a great time and will definitely be returning!

We will recommend this site. Six weeks on the road and know we are not going to make Sudbury, and this pops up. Large sites, and we did't have to unhook our 55'+ rig. The park is well kept and the owners were great. A lot of seasonal sites but all the trailers are newer and in good condition. Seasonal campers don't bother us. This park is large and the riverfront area is beautiful. Some highway noise, but that can't be avoided if you are parked next to a highway. Train runs through the lower section twice a day, but once again the owners alert you to that. It is no problem. Clean bathroom/shower areas. Just a nice campground. Could have spent a couple of nights, no problem.

We camped here for 4 nights. We had a wonderful time. The owners were amazing very friendly. Everyone in the campground was friendly as well. My kids made lots of memories and new friends. The pool was amazing. My kids enjoyed it. The playground was a great space too. Kids were able to ride their bikes around and my twins learned to ride their bikes without training wheels. The washrooms were very clean and showers were nice too. I got some wood from the store and they delivered it to our campsite first time ever this has happened. Thanks for making our stay very pleasant.
