Everyone at this location is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and kind. I wanted to shout out Aaliyah and Aynsley for helping me out yesterday! As a VERY fair-skinned girlie I came to purchase my go-to foundation, and they recommended me another, let me try it on and it was an even better shade match and a formula I LOVE! The staff take their time to answer questions, give recommendations and ensure you find the products best suited for what you’re looking for. Thank you so much!!
Customer service definitely needs to be worked on. When we reached the blond cashier at the front, she was treating us as if she was doing us a favour by scanning our products, which is funny because we are the ones spending our hard-earned money! Her attitude wasn’t very warm or welcoming.
Olivia is a brilliant makeup artist. I asked her for a Bollywood Glam and that's exactly what I got. She went through a whole bunch of color options for me and made sure that I was happy and took all my suggestions she is very skilled and very pleasant overall. Thank you so much for making my milestone anniversary so great!
I had a not-so-great experience at this location. I won't give 1 star because an employee did try help me out, but there was a situation that was frustrating.nI have been unable to find a good foundation which I liked--either the shade has been wrong in natural light, or the formula caused me to break out. Because of this, I had to exchange foundations multiple times. Eventually I gave up and found a great foundation at Mac, and went into this Sephora to return the most recent foundation I had purchased. The foundation cost about $76 dollars, but when I went to get a refund it only showed up as $2 on the till. They explained this was due to the multiple exchanges, and that was the difference I had paid on my last exchange. The woman at the register said they could offer me store credit instead. I thought that completely fine, and told them I'd go see if I could find a foundation at the store that would work for me instead of the Mac one so I could just do another exchange to keep things simple. Well, it didn't work out and I ended up having to go with the Mac.nI flagged the manager down and told her the situation to make sure I could return the foundation for a store credit, and was told that the store credit wouldn't be for the full amount of the foundation I had purchased at Sephora. I was obviously confused and asked why--and was told it was due to the multiple exchanges. It still didn't make sense to me, since I had paid $76 for the foundation, would be returning it without an exchange, so why would I only receive $2 back? I was truly not given a good explanation and told to reach out to customer service. I hate to say it, but I did feel the interaction was passive-aggressive and condescending.nnAnyway, I left and went to the Niagara Falls location to attempt the return. The woman there understood the situation immediately, gave me the $76 store credit, and I was on my merry way.
I had the best experience. Mackenzie helped me find the perfect setting pressed powder for me and I am very happy. I am loving my results. She knew everything about it and was very well educated on it. Not only that but she was also very kind and helpful at all times
