Came by to grab my birthday gift minis. I was greeted as soon as I got there, and the staff member informed me of a sale that was happening. The person at checkout was really nice as well.
I really want to like this location, however, please restock if you hate being approached by clients. Whenever you FINALLY get someone to open the drawers that they hate so much you touch, it’s fully stocked down there. I personally don’t need a lot of help, because I always make sure to check the inventory on the app before heading to the store or shop online. The associates always snap at you when asking for help, the only helpful associates are the cashiers, and one manager who is tall with blonde hair.
Visited today to pick up an online order which I assumed to be a quick process considering it was a weekday. No one was at the front entrance desk so I walked in to find the first beauty advisor there. It seemed like she was making sure the check out line mini products were fully stocked? Clearly I seemed to have bothered her doing her task. I said Hi, and she said "Hi" with an eye roll and did not make eye contact with me. I told her I was here to pick up an online order and she directed me to go back to the entrance where NO ONE was standing and wait there. Waited for a good 3 minutes before someone came up front, lady who came did not apologize for having me wait 3 minutes isn't "long" but a store with good customer service would acknowledge that I had been standing there. Within those 3 minutes, I saw at least 5 beauty advisors just chatting and walking around the store, some even made eye contact.
This store has to get their inventory together. Placed so many items for in store pickup saying “in stock” not even “limited stock” then it all gets cancelled. They can prevent this by being on top of their inventory. Also, most of the staff that work there need to be mindful of their attitude. I get that working retail can be stressful but your customers don’t need to be the ones you let your frustrations out on. When I ask a staff if they have an item in stock, they will cut me of and rudely state it’s out of stock. I then tell them that online it says that you have it in store and they once again cut me off saying “I know, but we don’t have it ok?” Doesn’t make me want to shop there anymore. I would rather drive out my way for a 30 min detour to go to a different sephora instead of being treated like this. If you check online before coming into the store to make a purchase, best bet is that it’s most likely not updated and out of stock. Save yourself the trip and either call them first to confirm if they have the item and can hold it for you, or just go to a different location all together.
Went in looking for a new brand that has cool colors to try. Not one staff acknowledged me. They were too engaged in their own conversations about their lives. Displays were crusted with makeup and bare with limited testers. Won’t be going to this location again.
The Staff here are very friendly and helpful. There is also a bench in front if your like me and spend alot of time inside sephora and my mom gets too tired she takes a rest.
Came in looking for a new perfume, Yuqi was very knowledgeable and friendly. I think this was one of the best experience I've had at Sephora. Definitely recommending asking Yuqi for help!
Omg I don't know who was the girl she helped me today, she deserves a raise, long hair petite, if u care check your cameras lol. I end up having best experience ever and its not my first SEPHORA visit. She went beyond helping me. Made me feel ok about not knowing about make up and most importantly she was so nice and friendly.
Always courteous and friendly people. Got my customized YSL products and had some fun at the event. Conveniently located inside Richmond Mall.
Spent over $500 and have to ask for product samples got only two for this purchase when for ordering same online I can have 2 per every $50 I spend. Notice that’s always the case for Sephora stores, every time have to ask and always get less sample than online. Why???
