Went on a weekend afternoon and there was no line. Staff were helpful with suggestions on what to order and were prompt in preparing the food. Ordered a sandwich ~$7.50 and a rice bowl chi bap ~$11.50. The sandwich had the garlic chicken while the rice bowl had the soy chicken. The chicken was crispy and flavourful in both dishes. The garlic chicken paired well with the sauce in the sandwich and the heaviness was balanced by the vegetables. The rice was well-cooked and was slightly sticky in texture. Very savoury. Serving size was fair for the price point and served as a great choice for lunch.
Unique storefront attracted our attention and the super tasty Korean style fried boneless chicken pieces were really delicious. We tried the Garlic St flavour which was sweet soy sauce with garlic. Lots of garlicky flavour and nicely fried. There were small fried rice roll pieces there too. Medium size was nice for sharing. Update: We went back to try the K-Town Sandwich. It's good, but on the smaller side. The size of a normal hotdog bun.
I've heard so many great things about Seoul Truck Street Food, and I'm glad I got a chance to try it out at last! They have quite an extensive menu for a food court stand. I tried their little sushi burritos and sandwiches at my visit here this time. I quite enjoyed both and definitely would recommend stopping here for a quick, reasonably priced lunch. Wish I tried the chicken here too but I was too full... Hopefully next time!
Loved the deep fried rice cakes and the popcorn chicken. The sandwich were surprisingly good too! I wasn't expecting much because the ingredients sound so basic. Would definitely come back to try their deep fried chicken!
Located in the food court. Very distinct store front. I ordered a Large serving of garlic boneless fried chicken $15 and a sandwich and casava chips combo. I’m not sure of the wow factor is there but the food was enjoyable. Then again, how can you go wrong with fried chicken?
This little gem in found in Henderson mall in the food courts! It’s hard to miss! My mom and I were craving old-school Korean street food ha ha and this place definitely satisfied the both of us! We got ddeok-ko-chi 2 flavors for $5.00 which is super cheap compared to other places! For one it ranges from $2.50-$2.95. I haven’t been able to try out the chicken here but I heard they’re chicken here is amazing as well!
Loved the fried chicken...juicy and crispy. The cassava chips!!! Best ever. Nice and crispy and doesn't stick to your teeth and salted very well. Appearance was a bit messy but that's ok. The quality and taste makes me feel that they should have a restaurant and not be in a food court environment. Also liked how they have a buzzing pager as a way to tell you when your order is ready!
A little place in the Henderson mall food court. I had the signature garlic popcorn chicken and it was solid. There was so much fried garlic heaped on top but that was easy to take off. Tasted garlicky and sweet with juicy chicken inside. Some pieces of rice cakes were in the mix too. Portions were good and prices fair.
Good snack place .... Tteokbokki fried rice cakes on skewers was really tasty: savoury, sweet, spiced; crispy outside, chewy inside. Vegetarian Chicken was crispy, nice flavours.
Maybe my review is critical and my standards are quite high. I ordered the Seoul Sandwich and the taste was just okay. To describe it, it's fried popcorn chicken on top of a "hotdog" bun and there is maynoisse and lettuce like the picture I posted/attached. I got the spicey version but it was not spicey at all. For your reference, the price was $5.95, with a 5% tip and tax worked out to $6.56. Dont get me wrong, I love korean food and my wife is Korean. So overall, I think there's not much value in what you get for what you pay for... I cant comment on anything else on the menu.. and my review is solely on the sandwich. I would say if you are in the henderson mall area, you can still check out this place.. If you're looking for deep fried korean style Chicken, check out OZ instead in Coquitlam.
