Small library, but with a wide selection of fiction and nonfiction books, and DVDs, for adults and children.nnIt can be loud at times because it’s a small space. There are no closed rooms, and there are only two desks available next to the computers.nnGood lighting, polite librarians, and three working computers. A dedicated children’s area is available with low desks for kids. They also have a nice couch seating area.nnThey also have readings and events from time to time. Books from both big and small publishers are available here. A lot of different books to pick from.nnNote: I liked it, but if you're looking for a quiet place to study or work, with extra space and plugs, I would go to the Riverside Library instead.
A charming little building with a lot of exciting things to do. They have 3D printers, a technology centre and plenty of activities for the kids. This is a terrific community space and we enjoy going there.
I've placed plenty of books on hold through the library app. My husband normally picks them up. I went to pick up my book today and asked what number I would find it under. The lady at the desk said the last digits of your library card. I said I don't have the card on me I have the app. Can you look it up? She wanted the drivers license for ID. It is under my husbands name. She said okay I can't look it up. Meanwhile my library card is ON the app I just wasn't sure where to find it. All she needed to do was get up from behind the desk and help me navigate the app to find the number. For the amount of money these ladies get paid, they have zero customer service skills.
staff is very kind here and always ready to help out if needed. only issue for me is the lack of desk space. they have a row of desks along the back but its super short and uncomfortable to sit in. other than that its great
Beautiful library with printing, scanning and browsing available.
