Nice NYS park. Both staff and fellow campers were very friendly and helpful. We we're lucky enough to upgrade our site to have electric. Plenty of playgrounds for kids and places to ride bikes. There were regular park police patrols to keep things running smoothly. Great family place.

The park was generally closed, but we launched kayaks from the Pine Grove access area. The Salmon River is very slack there and an easy paddle. Pretty place.

One of my favorite NY state parks! Great staff and facilities. Crowds can vary, especially busy in Salmon season (late August to early/mid October)

Very nice scenic area to go and take your family either for a picnic or a small daycation getaway.

We stay here every year for a week or 2 during salmon season everyone's always nice n helpful n great rates bathrooms r clean!
