I can’t recommend this store enough! A curated selection of used clothing in great to excellent condition at fair prices. Well organized, with helpful and friendly staff, the store is constantly getting new stock. Definitely worth taking a peak to see what gently used treasures you may find!

This place is in Waterdown and good thing otherwise I would be there every weekend. Purchased a superb wool swing coat, Geox shoes and four beautiful tops. Just a fabulous store with helpful staff.

My mom and I visited yesterday. We would love to know if the rude and obnoxious woman working there is the owner or just staff. Either way, she should not be working in retail with the public. Price and selection is good. Size areas should be separated. We didn’t need to hear that the woman was hungry and upset that the place was too busy. She couldn’t get a box of chocolates open so she proclaimed she was going to ‘throw it across the room’ maybe just be polite and refrain from all the negative comments and be happy people are in your shop spending money.

I have been coming to Second time around for quite a few years now. Bev and her staff have ALWAYS been friendly accommodating and out of there way to help me for whatever I need. This place is fabulous in quality, and pricing love it and will always keep coming here. Highly recommend. Thank you ladies!!

I would give zero stars if I could. The women who own/work in this place act as if their second-hand shop is a haute couture atelier; boorish wannabe snobs. I agree with a previous post; there is one particularly coarse, and abrupt woman who comes across as "judge" of whether or not a customer is deemed "good enough" to shop there. I was dressed in casually, yet designer casual: Style & Co Macy's own brand new suede jacket, Karen Scott tee shirt, Lucky Brand jeans, Rieker clogs - tell me what's "not good enough" about that I'd like to know?! When I was there they were fawning all over two dowdy older women, who drove off in Kia my new Audi A5, which I own outright, was parked beside them as it turns out, while they left me standing there like I was "riff raff" - big mistake, because I was the one in the store at that time with money, lots of it. It felt like I had to list my credentials, my assets and provide a bank statement to get service in a second-hand shop. Message to these women: treat all customers with courtesy and respect....

Right on the main drag in waterdown. There is free 2 hour parking on the side street. Quaint and clean. All clothing is in groups of colors and also nice selection of costume jewelry. As this is a consignment store check labels for size and price. Some items are reduced. There are change rooms so you are able to try garments on. Would say this is for more mature women who are looking for quality with a splash of sophistication..Very roomy inside.

Amazing store full of quality items - great pricing! Picked up these gorgeous shoes. Only thing that can be difficult is that everything is only organized by colour, not size or type of item. I was super excited to find this store so I will be back!

I had a great experience with my first visit to Second Time Around. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The clothing is beautifully and tastefully arranged with attention to detail and is excellent quality. I went in initially just to check it out and walked out with a gorgeous linenTheory dress for about $30 in perfect condition. I will be back for Fall shopping!
