Serving up handcrafted submarine sandwiches from the freshest local ingredients, Second Street Sub Shop has been tantalizing the taste buds of metro Detroiters since 1998.

Our subs are made from the highest quality deli meats, crisp vegetables from the Eastern Market, and served up on the freshest whole grained bread from a locally run 100-year-old family owned Italian bakery.

Everything is lovingly homemade and made to order.

We also serve delectable gourmet black angus hot dogs; freshly made soups; handmade slaw, potato salad, and macaroni salad.

There is a cooler stocked with sodas, juices, and teas to delight even the most finicky folk, and dozens of chips to top off your perfect meal.

Got a taste for a little something sweet?

We have handcrafted popsicles from the local Detroit Licks gourmet popsicle maker in a myriad of flavors.

We also proudly serve a vast selection of Love Bars, amazing slabs of cookie goodness that donates 25% of all their sales to cancer research.
