I recently had my very first surgery at Sechelt Hospital, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the care I received was exceptional. The surgeon [Dr. Busletta] was not only highly skilled but also kind and reassuring, and the entire surgical team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported.nBefore the surgery, I was feeling very nervous and overwhelmed, but their professionalism, patience, and genuine compassion made everything so much easier. They answered all my questions, offered encouragement, and treated me with such warmth—it truly made a stressful experience feel safe and manageable.nThese amazing people are a true gift to our wonderful and unique community. Thank you all for your hard work, dedication, and kindness. Your care made a lasting difference, and it is deeply appreciated more than words can express!
I was there for7+ hours, triage nurse was great! After waiting that long to get behind the golden glass gate, all I could hear was high school, talking about big dry shampoonWould affect a hairline, about food-FOOD! My sister TARA MACLEOD starved to death. Have a thought about what the Pinot getting pai are doing there… and I’m also choked that my dr didn’t even touch not even look at me, apparently her husband doesn’t pay the bills if his back goes out just petting the dog. .. I rely on my back, and I bet she didn’t even look at which discs were herniated before, certainly didn’t listen because it was obviously my hip muscles pretty sure if asked I could have said figure skating did that years ago but it’s fine because I don’t have to rely on my dr to pay for me…+dry shampoo +people not getting paid. Auto iincorrect
I am appalled!!! It is 3:15 in the morning and a nurse came in to give me my Dilaudid. In the hospital they give the generic version which is hydromorphone and I told the nurse there is non generic and generic and they look different and the generic is cheaper because they use different binding properties. She said she HAS NEVER heard of that. So, I looked it up for her and told her the difference, she then came into my room and started YELLING at me and I repeatedly asked her to leave my room. She then proceeded to go out in the hallway and yell to another nurse about how dare I try to educate her!!!! I would like to speak to the director of care immediately. This is so unacceptable and I have my husband here as a witness. How UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
I recently had gynecological surgery at Sechelt Hospital. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of care, the highly-skilled surgeon Dr. Busletta and the compassion and support I received from all the staff, from the anaesthesiologist and nursing staff to the support staff. This little hospital is doing amazing work and needs to be recognized as such.
Went to the ER last night, amazing costumer service and staff! They gave very thorough service. The clean facilities made the experience very comfortable. The only thing that didn't make it a 5 star experience is they did forget about me for a few hours... there was also a guy doing wheelies on a wheel chair in the narrow waiting room, almost running over my toes... but thats ok not their fault! : 8/10 would recommend.
