Seaway Medical

Seaway Medical is an just ok office. Dr Banick seems to be a good Doctor but she is only in the office 2 days a week. The rest of her appointments are on the phone. The office is closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I must say this is ridiculous. Seemingly Dr Banick lives in Montreal and commutes here.

Dr Raj Sharda is very polite and He ordered a few tests quite promptly. I am happy with my experience with Him this far. Thank you Seaway Medical.

update: after a year of being with Dr Banik, all I can say is if you want to switch meds, she won't allow you too. All she'll do is add a pill to the mix. If you want a referral, she won't give you one, instead she'll try to fix it and give you meds. Sometimes I Feel like she doesn't know what she's doing. Definitely. Don't feel medically secure.

Let me begin by saying how rude Dr.Yao is, she is definitely not a people person. I had high hopes of seeing a professional today so that I could finally have a diagnosis and find the root of my severe chronic pain, but she didn't know very much. Apparently muscle rub could solve all my issues even though they have been there for 4 years ... I'm pretty sure my other health professionals would've figured that one out before going to see Dr.Yao, complete waste of time. I felt as if I was just number and did not receive an adequate assessment.

Why is everyone so rude at the office from the receptionist to the doctor Dr Rakhee Banik The receptionist so mellow never smiles always looks angry like chill a little she’s always seems annoyed when calling or going in to see the doctor

Dr. Pierre is a lovely lady! She is genuine, easy to talk to and relaxed. Nice to have a doctor who follows you through your appointments to hospital check ups right through to end of delivery. I would highly recommend her!

They were at least 70 minutes late. They also threatened to charge me 30$ if I missed a phone appointment, yet the doctor calls me 90 minutes before the scheduled time, which I wasn’t even ready for obviously. Another bad thing happened. I saw a psychologist who wrote up an important report for me. She faxed the report to the office, but they claimed to never get it. I went in person to hand deliver a copy of the report, yet they still somehow claim to have never got it? The incompetence is worrying. They don’t call you back when you need them to fill in important documents. They either forget or claim they never got it. They also lied about filling in my forms, and were of no help. They waste a lot of time and gaslight you. Dr. Banik is extremely entitled and rude. She is so inconsiderate.

Dr. Sharda is fantastic. He sent my husband for tests immediately and saw him after and referred him to Ottawa, all within a month. He is so nice and efficient.

Love Dr. Pierre! She's a great, warm, caring lady. She is experienced and professional. If you're planning on having kids, she's the best in town.

Dr. Yao lacked bed side manners, not a smile, no reassurance and she gave me no diagnosis. Maybe it is the lack of experience... She asked that i bring in my x-ray but she barely looked at it. She kept looking at her apple watch; i felt like a number. However, her staff is very friendly.
