Story

There’s no better home base to explore this region than the Seattle/Tacoma KOA. We’re just minutes from downtown Seattle and the sights, sounds and tastes of this vibrant city. It’s an easy drive to Mount Rainier National Park and other mountain destinations for hiking, mountain biking and skiing. At our KOA, you can sign up for a guided tour of Seattle landmarks, including Pike's Place Market, Puget Sound and Space Needle. Or hop a city bus and see the sights on your own. KOA's paved path connects with the city’s cool bike and trail system. We have great RV and tent sites and a heated pool, game room, playground, outdoor movies and much more to keep you entertained.

I love this place but view your site before paying for it if you get one that should have water and electricity. I upgraded spots and paid more and both weren't working. However, they have movies and popcorn for the kids at night a pool, bike rentals. An outdoor kitchen for anyone to use and a breakfast restaurant in the morning that serves great food. The gift shop is awesome and they sell beer for drinking around the campfire . They have horseshoes and a giant chessboard the peices are the size of toddlers. They also have showers and a great playground. You do have to be quiet after 10, so of your party animals hit the actual woods. There are families and long term residents here. They don't play with noisy people

The campsite and the desk staff were delightful! The restrooms, showers, and grounds were clean. As an added touch that I appreciated very much, they decorated for Halloween! I would definitely recommend this for campers, especially if you’re looking for a place to do laundry and take a hot shower! PLUS, it is not too far from Seattle; just a short Lyft ride in or a little longer by public transport:

Real-hot hot shower which we really appreciate because we ride motorcycle. It's great to end a riding day with a great shower. The staff are friendly and accommodating since we were allowed to set up our tent in the backyard, giving us easy access to restroom. The location is easy to find: exit 152 of I-5 and head east for 3 miles. Wendy's restaurant is one block away to the east.

Not impressed. They charge extra for cable spots and the cable is horrible. 12 unclear channels and I get 30 dihital from the antenna that are really clear. Roads need work and the grass between spots is worn down to dirt. Very dusty. The movies at night were recent releases and good for the kids. Store was alright. I guess I just expect more from a KOA.

First of all don't listen to all the bad reviews. I came from Vancouver BC and found out about this campsite from a friend. All I can say is the campsite is very clean and well laid out. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. The bathroom and shower facilities are great. They also have lots of great amenities.
