Six stars! Thoughtful, fresh dishes and friendly, attentive service. The taste and texture of the morel mushroom was worth a visit itself. Each bite was delicious- from the marinated chestnuts to the succulent ginger and flavourful chicken. The perfectly-cooked truffled rice was full of delectable surprises - wild rice, pine nuts, prawns, egg. Great views. Overall, an exquisite experience. Next time we'll bring friends so we can try more dishes! Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator
Good and attentive service by the staff. Food was good and nicely presented. Price is on par with other better quality dim sum places. The tables are spaciously arranged and aren't too crowded. Finally, there is free parking in the designated P2 underground lot enter from w 8th Ave. Reservations highly recommended. Parking: Plenty of designated parking stalls in P2 underground parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Park at P2 and there is an elevator from the parking lot to level 2, where the restaurant is located.
You can tell how good a place is by how busy they are….& it was packed here on a Tuesday afternoon! Really enjoyed the dim sum. The space is nice with high ceilings. Dim sum is slightly higher price, but this is pretty on par with other restaurants. Service was phenomenal and good selection of dimsum. Favourite was the house special rice roll. Looking forward to coming back
Staff were friendly and courteous, food was actually quite good. The egg tarts were served hot which doesn’t happen often at other dim sum restaurants. Pricey but seems to be on average with other high end dim sum place. Atmosphere was great but I did notice it was extra noisy. Definitely an enjoyable experience
We came here for dinner, the restaurant is located on top of Whole Foods. Free parking in P2 and take the elevator up. Don’t forget to register your license plate at reception. This is our first time here and the decor is really nice. We were handed an iPad to view the menu, we thought we can just ordered off the iPad but actually you still need to order from your server. For 5 of us, we ordered the following:- 1. Satay Tiger Prawns Vermicelli in Clay Pot, we were served with 6 large prawns and a flavourful vermicelli 2. Crab Roe and Crab meat in Soft Tofu 3. Japanese Style Beef Tenderloin with Eggplant 4. Stir fried Pork Belly in Chinese Cabbage Stalks 5. Steam Fresh Grouper We asked if the dish size is small, and we were told best to order 5 dishes for 5 people. The server suggested the live fish at $69.99/lb. The dishes were actually quite big. The price of dishes are expensive. They charge almost $5 for a bowl of rice which we feel was a little extreme and it was not even a big bowl of rice. At the end of the meal, there was no offer of any complimentary desserts like red bean soup or even an almond cookie. When we asked, our server just shook her head. We did get a few changes of plates and constant refill of teas. At this price point, I think we have other choices further down the street.
Nice place. Over priced and okay food. Came here for dimsum on a Monday afternoon right at lunch time and it was not busy. Not even half full so got me curious and skeptical about the food. The food was alright, but over priced. The service was good though. Very nice and big place.Food: 3/5
Don't pay for parking at the parkade!! Just register your plate number at the reception! Like other reviews, the staff are very attentive. Pretty pricey dimsum but seems like it's the avg price of dimsum in Vancouver now. Food is good but HK style rice roll was very oily. One odd thing I noticed is the washroom entrances have no actual doors and the washroom stall doors are very heavy. I would maybe come back once a year? Not a dimsum restaurant where I would become a regular.
I’ve been here a few times and the food quality has remained consistently the same, very good. The staff are also super friendly. I highly recommend!
The food tasted great and the price was reasonable- approximately $35per person for 3 of us to essentially have all-you-can eat dimsum. We didn't know about the free parking at the time, but parking on 8th was easy to find too. The service was friendly and attentive. Our toddler dropped a toy or two and staff were quick to help me pick them up. My favorite dish was the honeycomb brown sugar cake! It's frustrating to see the fake 1-star reviews for this restaurant. Google should really implement a rule that stops new accounts from posting *any* reviews for the first 6 months. Kid-friendliness: Staff were very sweet with my son and when he dropped a toy or two they returned it to me quick. The elevator was great and there was ample space between the tables to roll the stroller.
Came here for Dimsum on a Sunday. There is free parking in the underground in P2. Recommended to make a reservation. I recommend the house special wild rice roll and Xiaolan style steamed dumplings.Food: 4/5
