Pros: Great selection of food! Attached to the mall. Clean and neat! Plenty of parking. Lots of shopping carts, you are able to take to the mall!nCons: Check-out person NOT friendly. Very expensive food products, most you can buy elsewhere. Most of the staff had no idea about what the price was for the bottled water. The items, some, not marked of the prices.
Great food variety. Great-tasting food. We came here today craving street foods . Had to wait an hour because apparently they weren’t ready yet. Finally ordered fishballs, squid balls at 12:18pm for dine in. We were disappointed with how soft, moist, and cold the balls were! We almost threw up coz it felt like we were eating thawed food! We ended up taking them home and re-frying them.
So much nostalgic items for your perusal all in one grocery place! Quite clean and they hold a variety of Asian goods, not just Filipino-specific ones. The food stalls were also quite good depending on what you're in the mood for. No pictures of the food, unfortunately, and not much of the place either as we were too busy browsing. Visit was about 4 months ago
Fresh fish, excellent selection of produce and grocery goods.nPrices are a bit higher but it is a locally owned business which, unlike LobIaws, has value for it's community.nnOne issue you may have is their return policy.nIf you find something with a broken seal, a product damaged / spilled within the packaging. You have to return same day to get an exchange.nnAnother issue is they frequently sell expired dried goods on the shelf months past due. However just because a hot sauce for example is expired doesn't make it dangerous, just less potent. Use your own judgement.nn---nnI would recommend for savvy shoppers local in the area.nAnd if you do stop by you must try one of the two in-store restaurants which are very good and worth the trip alone.
Overall impression it was good, the grocery isles are neatly stacked, clean and very well organized. There are a variety of food selections but mainly geared towards Filipino dishes. There's a lot to experience, food wise, we will come back again to explore. One feedback to make the visit enjoyable is to have the tables clean regularly at the eating area. Perhaps patrons can help by putting their garbage away when done eating.
