A cashier snuck her hands into my own bag! I paid for all groceries and put everything in my bag in front of her and she just put her hands into my bag like I was a criminal or what ? she didn't even ask if she can do that and the moment she saw my shocked face she said ohh sorry my niece wants to buy exactly the same bag and I wanted to see what it looks like inside ...what??? The worst experience I had in Safeway .
The store is generally good and most of the staff are nice. However, the gentleman handling the self-checkout was extremely grumpy and impatient. When I asked for help, he yelled at me, making me feel anxious and hopeless during the self-checkout process. I have already emailed the company about this incident.
Items are easy to find. I asked the staff for a specific product that i didn't see initially and they were more than helpful and pleasant to lead me to it
Idiotic security there, almost got assaulted by them, just because I'm native american, he even saw me walk in with a thousand plus dollar phone and headphones, with an expensive oakley jackey, and thinks I can't pay for groceries. Amazing employees though, other then that, security needs to learn a thing or two about racism and the law regarding not being able to touch any customer.
