Scran & Dram Scottish Public House

I'll keep it short - absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the Scotland trail - 3 course set menu with options to choose from. Those highlighted in the pictures - scotch egg, steak and mushroom pie with chips, and sticky toffee pudding.

My first visit here was summer 2025, I had only heard about it and due to the location and name, figured it was just another hole in the wall pub with greasy food, dim lighting and musty carpets.nI was wrong! Joined a friend who lives in the area for a drink one night and was so pleasantly surprised by the ambience. Our server Jorjia was incredible, service was well timed and food was great. I go about once a month now, I always get the calamari as my starter so good, but I miss the lemon-caper aioli they used to pair with it! but I've also had the scotch egg, Mac n cheese and the falafel salad. All have been excellent.

We had a great dinner tonight. My mum and I split the Cullen skink soup. So flavourful. I'm going to try and replicate it at home lol no pic of this one but definitely recommend. We also had the steak and mushroom pie with mash, peas and gravy. Very filling and delish. And father and son ordered fish and chips which was also a hit. Will return to try other items on menu for sure. Oh! Our waitress was awesome! Great sense of humour and super attentive. Cheers

I used to live locally, but now I just love when I get to come back to visit family and we eat here! Last night was busy, but staff were still fantastic, food was fast and DELISH. Everyone’s food was enjoyed - Fish and chips, Scotsman Burger and Hogstack burger, but my meal took the price: the fried chicken sannie! My photo sucks because it was at night, but it was huge! The chicken was so juicy and tender and it felt like there was half a chicken on there! Great value for money. Do yourself a favour and order their garlic mayonOn the side too! Their Scran Salad is also what brings me back every time. Yum.

Excellent food, great service, cold beer; what's not to like?nI happily make the 90 minute drive from home just to have the haggis. We have yet to find something on the menu that we don't like.
