Such a sad experience having to deal with the staff at this branch. Reached bank before closing hours, was informed they could not issue a access card as they had locked everything in the vault. How a reputed bank like Scotia have such unprofessional staff at work. No need to mention the staff names as the bank would know who was on shift.nEven if a customer reaches 5 mins before closing they cannot send them back as theybank had already started the closing procedure.nMy question here is how can they initiate the closing procedure before 6pmofficial closing timenHighly upset with the treatment. Hope the management looks into this on priority.

Wow! First of all if every time you call you are told “we are expecting higher than normal call volumes” that should be the new normal. Had a simple question about my personal banking that the toll free line couldn’t answer. Tried the extensions given multiple times and then called the branch direct. Waited on hold for over 20 minutes and spoke to someone who had to transfer me. I was then transferred back to a voicemail. If “you’re richer than you think” how would you ever know?
The bank does not seem take credit card fraud seriously. We had a questionable charge on the account. We called the credit card number to report our concerns and they took the opportunity to sell their financial products. What the heck!!! Then the rep told us to forget about it for a couple of days and see what happens. Really!?! So we asked him to put a hold on the account cancel the cards and send us new ones. He said OK, after a bit of forceful persuading on our part. We waited a week, no cards arrived, so we called back. The rep said that the card was on hold but new cards were NOT sent and we can reactivate the old ones. OK, none what they said they would do was done. I guess you can't trust this bank and be one needs to watch them carefully. One really doesn't need more to watch in this digital age. Now mind you, the branch bank personel are very pleasant and courteous and this is not reflective on this particular branch.
