My son was delayed for his appointment due to detours on the roads so he saw Dr. J Scuik, which was great.  My complaint is with his dental hygienist, Val.  She was most unprofessional in her position.  She degraded my son because of his tatoo's telling him he had no right to complain (he was shaking in the chair because he's afraid of the dentist).  She also commented on this home life during his orthodontics work when he was 11 years old, quoting "no one took care of you or watched you".  She told him he was a bad kid growing up and if she asked his Mom, she would agree.  My son was the best son I could ask for, he excelled in school, never got into trouble and was constantly looking after his younger sister.
This Val person needs to be reprimanded.  She has stepped across the line. Shame shame on you Val.
The bill for $760 was paid in full.

I have been going to Dr. Scuiks office since I was a child, my whole family goes. So when my stepdaughter needed dental work I automatically brought her here. I hadn't been to the office in a couple years, and I was shocked when I arrived with my stepdaughter.  The staff did not treat us as they once used to. Noone was very friendly other than the dental assistant, the customer service at the front desk was not very friendly, they didnt even know who we were most of the time and we had been going every week at this point.
So we decided to switch dental offices. Well our new dental office had to ask for our x-rays 5 times, finally I had to call, when they finally sent them they only sent my daughters and not mine.
This office used to be friendly and caring and now all it seems is that they're money hungry.
I'm beyond disappointed with this office.

This is the most HONEST and REASONABLE dental clinic in Oshawa.  

I have been to three dental offices for myself and my family members.  The two other clinics I have been to have both inflated their prices to the maximum for things like check-ups and xrays, and both have suggested really aggressive, unnecessary and expensive work from fillings in healthy teeth to an in-hospital dental surgery that my son didn't even need!

All of the dentists we have seen at Dr. Sciuk's clinic have been honest and friendly.  They are conservative and reasonable in what kind of work actually needs to be done (if at all).  Finally, their prices are kept reasonable in comparison to the two other clinics we've been to.  

In my opinion, this is the BEST dental practice in Oshawa and they actually care about their patients more than money.  They have earned my trust and my family and I will be lifetime clients of this practice.

The premises are clean and comfortable. The hygienists are friendly and are careful to clean your teeth thoroughly and painlessly. My appointments have always began on time and if I am experiencing any pain I am accommodated immediately. Dr. Sciuk is easy to talk to and he will discuss your treatment options and take care of you. I have been a client for years and years. I think my smile is my best feature!

I love this dental clinic. The staff are extremely professional and helpful. I suffer from TMJ and they scheduled an appointment following recent pain with such short notice. They referred me to another clinic in the area for treatment and did all the work that came with it. Appointments are always on time, the office is clean, and has a home-like feeling. 

Thanks for being such an awesome dental clinic. I won't be going anywhere else!
