Story

Dr. Peter Olejarz is a general dentist who has been in practice since 1994. He focuses his practice and training on the field of dentofacial orthopedics and orthodontics.

Dr. Peter believes that early intervention is key to oral health and aesthetically pleasing smiles. He also believes that surgery and the extraction of teeth are last resorts and aren’t necessary for the correction of many dental problems.

The Dundas Team are the cornerstone of our practice. We want you to enjoy coming to see us and we pledge to provide you with the most exceptional care! We take pride in being able to create beautiful healthy smiles for our orthodontic patients.

Hands down- amazing service!! I brought my 9 month old son in while getting a cleaning and they had an area for him to play and all of the staff loved him! They were all holding him and walking around, such a great place to bring family or kids!! On top of that all of the staff were great. Extremely friendly, very professional and knew how to make you feel at home. I will definitely continue to go there and be the first place I recommend.

I have been with Dr. Olejarz for over 10 years and have been very pleased with his staff and the professional service provided by his office. My 7-year-old has been his client since she was 3. Prior to that she was at the pediatric dentistry for almost two years. During those two years she would dread going to the dentist office. Every cleaning session would require me to hold her down with one of their support staff while she was screaming just to get her teeth cleaned by the dentist. At the time I didn’t know if Dr. Olejarz accepted young patients so I enquired and spoke to him directly. He said he accept patients of all ages and to bring my daughter in for an assessment. There was a little bit of anxiety during her first visit and a few tears but she never screamed at all and I didn’t have to hold her down like I would usually do at the pediatric dentist office. I was surprised during the second visit my daughter didn’t make a sound and just sat at the chair and let Dr. Olejarz do his magic. During the third visit, my daughter told me, I didn’t need to sit at the room anymore and I can wait for her in the waiting area. I was shocked as she always cling onto me like glue going to the dentist office. She recently got her retainers as recommended by Dr. Olejarz to expand her jaw in preparation to get her braces in a few years. It has been a few months since she’d been wearing her retainer and we can already see improvement with her jaw and her smile. Dr. Olejarz staffs are amazing, very patient and accommodating. They would call or text you the reminder for your appointment a day or two prior. They would follow up on your visit to see if there are any issue with the appointment. I totally recommend Dundas Dental Office to anyone who is looking for a better experience at a dental office like we have.

New to the area, was looking for a new dentist as my old one was a drives away. Booked for cleaning with my mother, as we are both fully covered under insurance (myself double from school and parents) we were not very worried about pricing. After filling out the initial literally 20+ pages of personal health questionnaire, cleaning was done by a hygenist. Work seemed fairly thorough, followed by a really brief check with the dentist at the end. Got the totalled bill for the two cleanings which was oddly not even divisible by two ($250 for me and $302 for my mother). Dentist wanted to book the two of us for a follow up appointment 'to get to know us better' for new patient examinations within about a month. They had told us neither of us had any major problems with our teeth so I was really confused as to why this was necessary. We booked anyways as we left and didn't think much of it until my mom checked our insurance accounts and noticed a 'future claims' for $1,391 dollars from the dentist's office. We cancelled our appointments and never went back. Might be a great place if you have severe teeth problems but definitely a pass for simple needs like ours.

I've always disliked going to the dentist, as it was always a painful experience and I never felt as if I was more than dollar signs. Then I found Dr Peter and his wonderful office full of nice, pleasant, friendly, courteous (I can go on and on..) people. A dental cleaning that wasn't painful and a hygienist (Zoltan) that actually took the time, and listened. Painless. Dr Peter, well I can't say enough good things. Genuine. The front staff, can't say enough good things also genuine. I honestly feel like a member of the family. My fear of the dental trips is over. It's a rarity in this day and age to be treated with such amazing professionalism, and care that I could give them extra stars across that board. If you are seeking a new dentist, this is the place to go. I stake my reputation on it. You won't be sorry, you'll be happy.

I've been a patient here since 2003 and even though I moved out of the area several years ago I would never dream of changing my dental care! The office staff are super friendly and accommodating and everyone is professional. Dr. Peter has a wonderful chair-side manner and would put anybody at ease immediately. The dental hygienists are pleasant, gentle and thorough. I highly recommend Dundas Dental if you are looking for a change!
