Story

We have recently decided to reopen our cafe and bakery after a two year hiatus. We have learned a great deal in these two years; mostly how much we miss our customers, community and preparing and sharing our food with all of you. We have a lot to accomplish in the next few months. Watch for a summer reopening in our new location.

Hidden gem of Montesano! Isn't it a rule of thumb that restaurants in houses are amazing?? This place combines gastronomic flavors and great wine with a love for the outdoors with their cute bicycle themed decor. Hands down best coffee in town. My croissant was served fresh out of the oven with fresh raspberry jam. I LOVE their veggie sandwich on their bread of the day. The French dip is also to die for. You'd expect a cafe like this to be in Seattle or Portland. They always play good music and the staff is so sweet. Never had a bad experience here. Treat yourself to a Savory Faire bar...sweet and salty heaven! Without a doubt the most promising spot in the sprouting local food scene.

I had a chef salad and the others with me had french dip and turkey bacon sandwich on wheat. The food was very good. It was noon when we went but service was great also. I would go back again. You can't go wrong when you eat there.

Our table of 6 all loved the food here for a late lunch. Delicious quiches. Fresh salads. A tasty Reuben. The breads are super fresh. And the desserts were scrumptious. I'm looking forward to trying breakfast here on our next road trip to the peninsula.

Kid friendly, unexpectedly fresh and tasty food for a small tourist town. Fresh bread and pastries. I am sensitive to gluten so my choices were limited, I had the taco salad. Dessert case items were a great finish at only $2.50 for most items.
