I had tried other lawyers, getting advice, even going pro-se for the cause. I had found that circumstances were getting more and more complex and convoluted. All I wanted was consistent visitation, harassment to stop and to be a real dad; not just a father to my son. My first consultation, I knew I had the right lawyer, because she asked ALL the questions one could hope for. She quickly understood the scope, depth and complexity. What's more, I found more often, she knew what to expect, the steps and the outcome before each and every step of the way. This is not a 'band-aid' lawyer, but a really articulate mediator. When that couldn't be done, she really stepped it up; and in this, other attorneys and judges could see clarity in the quagmire that had been manufactured. She's passionate, honest and a good listener. Please be aware that you also have to listen and understand her as well. Family court does not work fast, but the judgments are. Lawyers like her know this, and take it on without the same frustration the parents have in such a fight. She will tell you how she sees it, and that is an important element in the overall chemistry. I've worked with her for 6 years. Without her, I would not have a relationship with my son that I do now.
