Amazing beach with beds costing €25 for 2 including umbrella. Table service too. Beach is sandy and water is crystal clear. One of the best beaches in Milos. Limited parking so arrive early.
One of my favourite spots in Mylos. The beach is fantastic, i must say the water here is just great. Very scenic place worth visiting. Only bad thing is the lack of WC in the beach bars there. There is only a mobile toilet outside. Nevertheles a place worth visiting.
Disappointed nobody was there. Two places for services that were still closed for the winter. We were there May 2nd, 2023 at 1200 not sure when summer starts, but not this early. Overcast and 20c /70f
What a place! Right by the beach. Fresh, delicious greek salad. Their juices and drinks were very tasty and made on site. We had calamari and prawns, both were so flavoursome and crispy. Great find
If you're lucky enough, in May, you may find yourself completely alone on this beach. An old tree, next to the old fishermen's houses, to protect you from midday's hot sun. Felt like paradise for us.
We were in Milos for a few weeks and we only had one bad experience; we’ve been to over +/- 20 beaches in Milos. Other beaches in this area are more beautiful tbh. There were locals at this beach chilling in the small white fisher houses with a big German shepherd dog that was walking around over the beach and then attacked me out of nowhere… The owners didn’t even say sorry or anything. Even though I love dogs, there was a weird vibe at this beach because of them and obviously I didn’t feel safe, which we never experienced in Milos/Greece. I also read it in another review of the beach next to this one, that a man was attacked there by probably the same German stelhard dog. Maybe those guys feel like they dont want to share the beach with others/tourist.. Not welcoming as other beaches/places in Milos!
Gobsmacked at the pricing... €35 for 2 chairs and an umbrella...then they ask "Would you like to buy anything to eat or drink?" Um, nope! But the view is lovely and the sea colors are stunning. Liked: ease of access to beach...when you park, you're steps away. Also, provides handicapped access with a specific chair on rails that could take someone into the water. See pic. I've never seen this in the States but very much appreciate that someone would be afforded the same pleasure of accessing the bay. Did not like: saw a family next to me pick up a hypodermic hopefully sans needle from the sand in their area, and they had a 3-year old with them. Not OK! Also, obviously the price is just astounding but based on others' post the price must vary depending on tourist season, and I'm here at the height of it all. A bit weird: although I was warned, it was a bit shocking at first to have fish bite your legs and ankles. Little creatures but bold!
Beautiful beach but there are no trees nearby so you will need to decide on either getting a heatstroke or renting sandbeds for 35€ per pair.
Decent beach but make sure you bring your own umbrella. There is little to no natural shade and because it faces south it can be very hot as it’s unaffected by the north winds that are common in the summer on the island that means no waves! When I visited back in 2018 I enjoyed my experience at the beach bar but this time we were asked to pay 50 euros for the set of beach chairs … what ?!?! This is an insane price for what really is just a typical Greek beach. Nothing special. So either come with your own umbrella or go elsewhere.
Great soacious sandy beach sand of golden color indeed. Easy to reach by car. Might be not the best option during windy days even when the wind blows from the North.
