Save-On-Foods

Nice store, very big with good variety of foods and a nice ready made section but unfortunately does not measure up to its name. There is nothing cheap about this store , there is no way anybody can “save more” shopping there and the basic staples such as bread, rice , pasta…are more expensive than Walmart and Superstore. In addition, store brand name products such as snacks, salad dressing are also more expensive than Walmart and Superstore brand names. There are however occasional great flyer deals like $2.49 around grapes or 99cents cucumber sold out at the time I was there but seriously not worth the trip . Walked out of the store empty handed and was given a cold stare by young cashier! It made me feel awkward, perhaps this store has had issues with theft in the past? Didn’t really feel like coming back after that. Moved to yorkton in December and it was the first time I set foot in this store even though I am living in the hotel across the street yet I do believe this will also be my last time there!

Friendly staff and a very good selection of goods. Lots of fresh vegetables, fresh meats and breads. Bright place with wide iles.

One of the cleanest and nicest Save On's I've ever been in. Great customer service. They always have what I need and I prefer shopping here over Superstore and Co-op. They price match as well so I can avoid Walmart's poor quality produce but get the sale price here.
