We love to shop at this save on and have never had any issues. Unfortunately tonight we bought two chicken pot pies and save on hid the true size. We bought what we thought was a decent chicken pot pie for $6.99 but when we got home the pie was much smaller.nnI’ll put a photo so you can see, but it would be nice if save on was genuine with their packaging.
This is a convenient location close to my house in Victoria. It is well organized and always seems to have what I need. Supply chains being what they are is not the fault of the store or grocery chain. The staff have always been friendly to me and I have never had a bad experience here. Could use a bit of updating but overall a good place.. would recommend this place.

Purchased a snack for my stepson's school lunches today that are EXPIRED BY 5 MONTHS and they're still on the shelf. I usually DO infact check expire dates when I shop, but sometimes you have a million things to do in a day, driving, working, parenting, cooking, shopping for your grandma, shopping for us, that you don't have time to check each time... but by like 5/6 MONTHS EXPIRED when they advertise freshness???nHe says he doesn't feel well as he just had one for a snack a bit ago and was fine after school! So upset! This is appalling and gross. Won't be back. Will be into the store for a refund and to speak to the manager. I've taken a photo.
Second closest Save-On-Foods to my home, but I go there when I can't get an item at my smaller Save-On-Foods or when I'm in the neighbourhood. I like the nostalgic turntable checkouts.
