I've been getting haircuts here from Jihan for over a decade since I was 10. The shop has a classic and welcoming feel, there's always sports or news on the TV, and the waits are never long. Jihan himself is the best. The prices are unbeatable and Jihan is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He has a great memory, and although sometimes he is hard to hear over the sound of the clippers, it is always great to chat during the haircut although chatting is not necessary. I think that for men's hair he has to be the best barber in West Point Grey, so near UBC and near Kits as well. I have lived across Vancouver, and now in Toronto as well, and I haven't found a barber that is nearly as good for even close to the price, I now wait until I come back to Vancouver to get my haircut by Jihan. If you look through the reviews any bad ones are for the woman who used to rent a chair in Jihan's shop who is no longer working there. He listens carefully and cuts my hair exactly the way I have asked for it to be cut. Always positive and with one of the lowest price ranges in town, why wouldn’t you go to get your hair cut here?

The man who owns the shop, Jihan, is an excellent barber who I have been going to for years. Really feels like a community barber shop. He remembers his long-time customers and knows exactly what I want each time! I definitely recommend him!

He cut my hair at a reasonable price and followed my instructions. The barber is a great conversationalist. I will be back.

I asked the barber for a "minor trim" just to "clean up my beard" and he cut off more than half of it from 4cm to 1.5cm. After going home to take a better look, I also realized the underside of my beard was incredibly uneven, with the neck being twice as long as what was left on my chin. Not only was the cut drastically shorter than what was asked for, it was also just poorly done.
