Completely rude service from the cashier. Was assisted to find a moderately expensive bottle for a dinner party by the helpful staff but the cashere a blond French woman in her 50s refused to sell me the bottle since I had my little sister with me. I am in my 30s so I did not think that I was not allowed to have a minor with me to buy alcohol. As this is the governments monopoly it is the only location to buy alcohol in this province. I have never been treated so poorly by service staff and will not being going to this location again however this changes nothing for them as they are governed by the province. I only wrote this review so that others are warned. If you are a young English woman don't go in there with a minor or someone who looks like a minor or they won't let you buy anything!

Some complaints against rude cashiers??? You need therapy. These cashiers are the epidemy of kindness and decency. Get a life !!!

Nice store, good selection and polite employees. BUT the SAQ still lacks respect for the other official language of Quebec! Some English signage would help your image and respect allot more of your customers. The wine prices are still too high, it's ok to buy a bottle or two, but I go to LCBO Ontario when I buy wine by the case or more, big savings.
