Really beautiful and huge holiday bar space. The decor - which is what you come for - is extremely well done. If you want to go there for pictures, be prepared to wait. One star for the decor, and one for our server noelle eve was extremely nice. Drinks were pretty good too. Star off for the fact that it took us over 30 minutes to be seated in a place that was half empty. About 15+ patrons were waiting patiently for their tables. Table limits about 90 mins didn’t seem to be enforced but it was a Monday evening. They also gave out bottles of water instead of cups with glasses which…just seemed off. Overall, a good, holiday experience but they def need to work out their logistics a bit better.
The best Christmas experience ever!!! The decor, food, drinks, and photo opps were top notch. I’ve never seen a Christmas bar go all out as Santa Baby Bar does. I had amazing customer service and made memories with my family I can cherish forever. 1000% will be back! This place is a must visit during the Holiday season.
Packed house tonight. The overall decor was lit. How long did it take to fill the ceiling with ornaments?. Had a minor issue with food service. Our waitress was great, drinks could use a lil more alcohol, I suggest add a shot. The chicken nacho tree was delicious. The fries are seasoned like curly fries.
After hosting Christmas Eve, we decided on Christmas Day we wanted some relaxation so we decided to try Santa Baby Bar in Wrigleyville. What a fun time! You need advance reservations. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were seated immediately. You have to scan the QR code at the table for their drink and food menu. They do have a limited food menu on Christmas Eve and Day . We were greeted by a friendly happy server and we ordered the Merry Manhatten and Elf Fashioned. Both made with Makers Mark and both were delicious. We also ordered the Nacho Tree which was the only Gluten Free menu item offered . It was fresh..tasty and good size. We enjoyed the holiday music and decorations which were over the top. Prices were not bad since you are not paying a cover charge . Plenty of street parking available. They also have an upstairs walk thru light display that costs 10.00 per person but they were full by the time we arrived. This has to be Chicago's Best Christmas Pop Up Experience.
This was such a fantastic, and fantastical, experience. My kids and I were ushered in by Mr. Charles, who was running security. That dude was amazing. He showed us around, I got hopping excited literally hopping, I felt like Will Ferrell in Elf. Then he helped the kids and I reserve a table. The food was good, the presentation was quirky, the setting was outrageously cool. I could have stayed all day.
Cool I had 2 shots: gingerbread and apple pie . Tasty! Food soooo sweet it’s not healthy at all, but fun . You should have once this experience in your life
I only had a short amount of time in the city and with the help of a friend I was able to find this wonderful bar with great food and wonderful drinks. My server was Kourtney K and she was wonderful and her recommendations were on point, very personable and welcoming. If your ever in City and want to feel festive give “Santa Baby Bar” a try. Highly recommended!!!!!!
We went with our kids and everyone really enjoyed the decor. There was a lot to look at between the main floor and the upstairs levels, and to us, that was well worth the visit. The food was remarkably good considering the setup, but the alcoholic drinks were a bit weak considering the price. We sat in the tented area, which gave us more space, but the picnic tables were not very comfortable, especially for the kids. It was considered "full" but there were lots of empty tables, indicating to us that capacity is more a function of staffing rather than available seats, which is too bad because the wait for groups arriving after us was fairly long. The service was quick and cheerful, though. What was annoying was that, despite having a reservation and paying the higher food and drink prices, we also had to pay extra for the kids to see the upstairs displays. The hostess said she wasn't sure if it cost extra to see upstairs as the policy seemed to vary by the day, which wasn't very helpful. It really should be included, at least for young kids. We also wish that there were a few more kids options on the menu. We will likely go again next year.
Decorations are impressive and let’s be real that’s what you’re here for. Drinks were okay, food was okay- server was kind and attentive
Place is so cute and well decorated! Was able to get a reservation 10 mins before they opened I would suggest doing that or planning in advance. The reservation asks you to put your card info though! Food was very tasty and filling. They offer one veggie burger. Also loved the shareable drinks. Server was very kind. Wouldn't mind returning to this place :
