Professor Pizza

Best pizza in chicago hands down. My favorite is the mushroom leek but everything else is good too. I order a pizza every week. Huge portion great deal. You can tell that the chef really cares about his product just by the taste and the mushrooms he uses. None of the mushrooms are from cans like other pizza joints. Definitely has become my go to for pizza and definitely in my rotation for food weekly. They also offer delivery now too which is super dope.

Ordered from Professor Pizza today for the first time - an 18” NY-style pizza with sausage, bell peppers, and onions. Far and away the best pizza I’ve had in Chicago. As someone who grew up in New Jersey and has been searching the Midwest for decent NY-style pizza for nearly 20 years, I can say that I’ve finally found it. The cheese blend, crust, sauce, and toppings are all on-point and come together in a great way. So glad this place is right around the corner! Professor Pizza, keep up the good work, and we’ll be back to see you again real soon!

Possibly the best all around pizza place in the city. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for the Professor. Our last time we ordered a New York style with sausage, a tavern cheese and a grandma cheese. We went simple because we had some boring people coming over for dinner. All three types are great. The grandma is something special. The New York might be the best in the city and the tavern is not too shabby though probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite. Both the sausage and pepperoni are top notch.

Best pizza in the city - absolutely love the spinach and artichoke. Ordering and pick-up is easy. Love that they do grandma style pies as well hard to come by in the Midwest. Definitely check these guys out!

Best pizza in Chicago and that’s a high bar. My fave combo so far is mushroom, artichoke, and CREAMED SPINACH on the cracker thin. Delicious!

What a find! The spot is a clearing house of sorts. Basically a Grub Hub depot. But however this pizza is getting there I’m happy about it. The NY style is like nothing else you’ll find regularly in Chicago. The sauce is possibly the best I’ve ever had. Rich. Sweet. Complex. A fantastic pie. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Have quickly added this to our pizza rotation, it’s become a favorite. Love the crust on the grandma pepperoni. Updated review after our 5th order.

Ordered the cracker thin tavern cut supreme and was so surprised at the quality of the ingredients. The toppings were of very high quality and plentiful. Mushrooms were amazing. Was looking for a Barnaby's replacement and this place definitely out does it for that style. I'll be back to try more! Kind of a weird pickup situation but you have to go into the Humboldt park eatery.

First things first, the pizza was delicious. Definitely worth the price. Portion was generous and flavors were great. Pick up system needs some work. Ordered on Toast and was told to pick up at a certain time. I get there exactly on time and ask the guy up front of the ghost kitchen for the order and he says it’s not ready. I wait 20 minutes and still nothing so I text the number provided and got no response. Another 20 minutes later I decide to call and they tell me it’s been ready for a while. It would’ve been nice to get a notification or something when it was done. That is my only complaint but again, the pizza was amazing, worth the try

Pick a pizza anyone this is not ceasers or giordanos this is The Professor Pizza and it’s phenomenal, from the crust to the sauces to the premium ingredients ‍ I keep trying flavors and hands down now my favorite pizza joint , this is not a 5$ pizza this is a damn good pizza treat yourself!
