We were able to bring our dog inside with us. Everything was very clean and the front desk staff was absolutely amazing. They made sure that we had absolutely everything and anything that we might possibly required. In the attached Denny's restaurant, the staff was friendly as well. Food was delicious. Our granddaughter was given her meal for free which was so kind of them. We were displaced by the provincial fires that were going on at the time. I highly recommend stopping here. I have never been treated better at a hotel than here! WOW

I booked a suite because I wanted kitchen facilities and a comfortable place to relax in the evening while in town on business. When I arrived I was told they didn't have a suite for me and instead found my room was closet sized without so much as a bar fridge and soundproofing was non-existent. The guy at the counter was not the least bit apologetic and the look on his face suggested he couldn't have cared any less. My two night booking was cut to one night, and I would have left on the spot if there had been other rooms available in town. The only positive comment I have is that the room was at least clean. I am in town a couple of times a month, but won't be returning to the Sandman.

No microwave in any rooms. Had to put water through the coffee machine, then in to a cooler, then place my food in a plastic container and float it in the hot water to warm my food. They were vacuuming at 11:30 pm! My friends room had no working lights, aside from the bathroom. They got to use the TV to see their room. Will not be returning.

1 star is too many. Had rooms booked, told to wait 4 hrs. No microwave. No fridge. TV not working. Hair in shower. Expensive Denny's, Ick! Hopefully next time will be better.

Nice but first room smelled of cigarettes. They were move rough to move us, but the next room was a bit shabby. The heat register cover was off and sitting on the floor, the bathroom was not clean, and worse the bed was broken, sagged so much on the side at the middle that I kept falling off the bed. My husband and daughter didn't notice or care about the smoke smell and they slept fine with no issues of falling out of bed.
