We've got the biggest margaritas in the Midwest and offer delicious authentic Mexican food catering, a full bar, and a taco food truck. My family and I were hungry and about to leave the dells so we stopped here because it’s where we stopped the last time we came to the dells. Unfortunately, it was not the same experience. First off, the server came to our table and just stood there, didn’t even say good afternoon or anything. We got our drinks and it was a long wait before he came back to take our order even though there was just one other table. So it was pretty slow. The taco meat lacked flavor, it just tasted like it was boiled with salt. The tortillas for the tacos didn’t seem like they were warmed up on a comal or grill it looked like they were just thrown in a microwave. Sauces for the tacos were okay but not delicious. Prices here are also unreasonable, you think you’ve eaten expensive tacos? Come here and see for yourself, expensive/overpriced and not even good.
Walked right in got seated fast. Great customer service. Our waitress Nancy was so kind and went above and beyond to any request we had. We had our baby with us and it felt family/kid friendly. We came all the way from East Troy Wisconsin. Our experience was great. Definitely will be coming back. Parking: Will have to pay a fee from the city, a dollar per hour.
The server Nicolas was excellent very attentive and charming. The mango margarita was excellent. The food very flavorful, more sauce would be nice. We got the special so pricing was appropriate, normal pricing would be a little high. We will come again. FYI the table was wobbly and should be fixed.
Food was excellent! And the speed of service was great as well! It’s true the staff don’t understand much English, but for me that added to the authenticity, and I was still able to order pretty easily. I have been to many Mexican restaurants, and this one by far was the number one best in my opinion!
Great service, every time we come here ! The food is actually authentic and very flavorful!!! Our waiter was so awesome and friendly as well. Made sure we were good at all times. Would definitely recommend!!! Thank you !
Went to this restaurant with my friends and we were not served. Our order was taken and did not get attended to until after an hour and half. Waiter brought the drinks and told us to give him 10 minutes for food to be ready, he went missing. I approached the manager he cared less to follow up what was going on. He actually lied to me he’s not the manager until one of the employees told me he’s the manager, that’s when we had to walk out of the restaurant . We had to pay them $50 for drinks and walked out. The sever said it was his 3rd day which is understandable but waiting for 1hour 45 minutes without being served is unacceptable. Talked to the guy working in the kitchen and he said he didn’t get our order. I have every reason to rate this place one star. We saw 5 different groups of people that came after us and got severed with 15-20 minutes. If you’re a person of color DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of service in this place
Nice little Mexican restaurant located at the corner of Main Street. Good decor, food and service was ok, no complaints. Drinks were good, we tried the drinks sampler and it was nice.
First impression, real authentic Mexican. We were right. The food, drinks and service was excellent! We’ve been to a couple other places on our weekend trip and this place hands down was the best! You won’t be disappointed! We will be back!
break down below… Nice establishment - clean 5/5 Nicholas was very friendly and enthusiastic! 5/5 Taco Dinner - Asada Tortillas were soft and possibly homemade. Asada was decent but not the best I’ve had. Rice was good, beans possibly from a can. 4/5 Mexican Style Tacos - Asada Tortillas were soft and possibly homemade Asada was decent. 4/5
New Mexican restaurant. Went on 4th of July weekend and the place was packed. There was a 40 min wait but once we got in we sat at the bar and they took our order. The food was okay and a little pricey, I would give this a 5 star bc the Colombian bartender made the whole experience memorable. He was genuine and charismatic and kept entertainment the whole bar. Kudos to the owners as they closed at 10pm but kept their doors open alllot later!!
