I mean....I got really really full for a good price. The sashimi was big and good, fresh, NO fish smell or taste. My roll that I got, was nothing amazing and nothing horrible. It's a lot of food. What you see in my pic was 17$. There are places that charge much more for much less I am happy and would order again to get full for cheap and its pretty healthy. Not bad at all. I liked it.
Average tasting economy style sushi that's big to huge in size with lots of padded rice and totally quantity over quality for flavour. It's kinda like eating rice bricks.
They are a really afordable sushi option for Vancouver especially their discount for takeout when you order in advance. They had a really good price point for so much sushi and it tasted pretty good too, I really liked their BC roll.
My family and I enjoyed the fresh and affordable sushi. The sashimi slices were thick and I was shocked at the generous amounts of sushi rice.
Toonie for size comparison. The sushi is so fresh and delicious! The sashimi is impressive with big chunks, the roles are huge and made perfectly! Highly recommend! We ordered the BC roll, dynamite, dragon, spider and assorted sashimi.
A super cheap sushi house, so you cannot expect a high quality dining experience, but their sashimi are thick and the portions are large-- which are qualities you are looking for in cheap eats. My to go spot for a clean dinner that is affordable! The saba battera is disappointing though, especially if you unconsciously compare to higher tier places like Green leaf or Miku.
Shocked they're still around and the location hasn't been imploded for condo developments. Portion sizes are tiny compared to many years ago greedflation. Quality ingredients are a thing of the past. Hardish rice in their sushi is the norm now. This place was the go to Sushi Place not affiliated with the Fraser location or Davie several years before covid started. I guess the transit crowd and local neighbourhood keeps them in business. Website isn't accurate. Not recommended.
The house roll is absolutely huge, and it's also cheap. Feed your hungry kids with this not-too-shabby roll. Not the freshest/tastiest, but wasn't bad either; basically quantity over quality. Other than that, the rest of the sushi there isn't worth trying. Treat yourself to something better if you were here for sushi. If you are looking for huge sashimi / nigiri sushi, I think their Richmond store has better sashimi, but still, not the freshest/highes quality.
Too much rice in each roll, tuna was definitely past its prime and sloppy presentation. I understand that they're known for their big portions and lower prices but I'd rather pay for better quality so I can enjoy my meal. I won't be back.Food: 1/5
Rice was too much, and unkind staff This restaurant accept only cash, but was more expensive than I expected even though I calculated before visiting. No e-transfer, no card machine.
