First of all the food here is amazing and fresh. The spicy fried chicken wings will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. Staff is always friendly and helpful and the owner himself always makes a point of coming out to say hi. Best Chinese/Asian in Durham hands down. Nice eat in area as well as take out and delivery. Love it love it.

Had Sams for the first time tonight. I dont know if it was because its a Monday or because I went at 2 hours before closing. But the food was plain and husband said the general tao tasted like franks hot sauce. The egg rolls were tiny and dry. Its ok. Not the best in Durham.

Seriously the best Chinese food restaurant in Durham Region, let alone Whitby. Sam takes a lot of pride in bringing flavours from home, but you will still find many of the Americanized dishes as well. Always a favourite for informal family gatherings, birthdays or whenever. I popped in yesterday and grabbed the spicey chicken and szechuan fried noodle special for 10 bucks! Everything tastes good! Great textures, great service. All around one of my favourite eateries in the region. Have been a customer for 10 years at least... probably longer. There is NO substitute.

Probably the best Chinese food in the Durham area. We have yet to have bad food or bad service here. A must for those looking for a more authentic tasting Chinese food experience.
