Sam & Louie's Italian Restaurant NY Pizza

Unfortunately, they were grossly short handed. The staff that was there did the best they could. HOWEVER, after waiting a long time to place our order, we waited an even longer time to receive our food. HOWEVER, when it was almost time to get our food we were told they were out of perch. Why weren't we notified when we placed our order?(5 out of 6 of us ordered perch Friday night) So then we needed to order something else. We changed our order to Cod, they discovered 1 plate of perch which they should have kept in the kitchen or better yet, thrown out. It was the worst plate of perch I've ever had, Also the greasiest. My plate had a puddle of grease under the perch. Ran out of drinking glasses. I don't ever plan on returning.

Called in an order at 445pm. They said it would be 30 minutes. Arrived at 520pm which is more than 30 minutes. They told me it would be 5 more minutes. Didn’t get my food until 540. The guy told me it’s not his fault I got there early and proceeded to argue that the order wasn’t called in until 521pm. Well I was there when my wife called went to the grocery store then here and paid at 520 so how did she not call until 521? Instead of trying to make it look like you didn’t screw up in front of the other customer just apologize that is all it would have taken.

Pizza was a little *meh*, but it was overall pretty tasty. Customer service was great. Would recommend.

We went to celebrate my nieces birthday at Sam & Louie's the other night. We had about 15 people there. We were very disappointed with the establishment and employees (especially the owner). Very rude and uncaring. Did not seem to care that we were paying customers. Pizza was not that good either (soggy). We will take our business elsewhere from now on.

Their cheese tortellini with sausage and chicken is out of this world. Yoday I am having a couple glasses of a beer they have on tap. Ahnapee Brewery Pumpkin Ale oooooh so good.
