Salvation Army

These are great people who are doing great things for the community of Campbell River. Sometimes the prices are a bit steep making it a bit ironic because they are trying to help lower-income people thrive.

Most of the staff/volunteers are wonderful here, very friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety of items and are usually very reasonably priced. I love the sales they have on items that are already affordable. The stiff is in good condition and I like that the money goes to helping the community its in.

Went last week and this week.. purchased three similar items each week.. on seniors discount day. Last week $10 this week $18. Prices have gone up. Summer fleece jacket $8, jeans $8, fabric pieces I looked at were $20 and $12.. very expensive for a thrift store. I can buy clearance clothes from old navy cheaper, and they'll be new.

Not bad. Has many things to choose from. No furniture. Clothing and household. Some good deals, but just as many overpriced items as well. Been many times. Hit and miss.

Salvation Army store prices have improved. It used to be very expensive. Last visit, a few days ago, the store was loaded with interesting items at fair prices. Seriously though, ....nThrift stores are for broke a$$ people trying to purchase items they can't afford to buy new. I'm one of em. : I'm definitely going to shop there more often now.
