The woman working the counter was incredible! Friendly, kind, and accurate. I got a 32 oz lobster bisque. It's a lil pricey, but worth it. The broth is delightful! The lobster and shellfish, according to their website is a little bit chewy, but there's a LOT of it. Awesome! A lot of places have, like, no meat in their bisque. Not the case at Zoup! The other item I ordered was their 1/2 Cali Chicken Sandwich. It was kinda disappointing. It was virtually all bread see photos. The first two bites were bread and bread only not an exaggeration. I don't think I've ever been served a sandwich so skimpy. It was also missing the white cheddar, and that was one of the deciding factors when I choose my meal. The nearest Zoup! is 30 minutes away in good traffic, and I'm a single mom on a budget, so it's kind of a treat to myself when I'm nearby this location. Today was definitely disappointing. Ultimately, will I be back? Yes. The bisque and staff ESPECIALLY the staff! will get me back in the door. However, if my sandwich is a representation of the rest of the Zoup! menu, I can NOT recommend it. Final note, while my friend and I were eating outdoors it's great, because the tables are covered, an older woman in a wheelchair approached the door. My friend quickly went over and opened and held the door for her. Had my friend or anyone else not helped her, she couldnt not entered the Zoup! location. It's a heavy door. And she couldn't reach the handle. Features: Other than my friend and I, no one, including staff was wearing a mask.
Soups were good, loved being able to sample. The pesto grilled cheese was such a tiny portion and the bread was not crunchy, spent $11 on a bad grilled cheese.Food: 4/5
Time ago a coworker ordered. a salad, which came with bacon. My coworker don’t eat pork. They didn’t refund her money, even though the bacon wasn’t listed as ingredient. Today I have one of the worst experience. Me and my husband both ordered a bread bowl soup. The persons who was in line before us, have their meals. Ate them and leave. The 2 other customers after us also had their food before us. After about 40 minutes waiting, I asked was going out with our order. Until then they started to prepare it. Two people. Another 10 or 15 minutes passed. The second order after us was a family. They all got their food. Thus, my husband asked them for a refund. The cashier, who was nice apologized because she didn’t know how to make the bread bowls. She couldn’t figure it out how to do the refund. She asked to a manager who said the food was ready and sent to the kitchen, so they couldn’t do the refund. 20 minutes before I saw the same person, Kaylah pouring my soup in a container, which was 3/4. Then Kaylah tried to do the refund and at the end gave us cash. They never even tried to gave us the food, which continued at their prep counter. I am not sure if Kaylah was a manager, but she seemed lost and also said that she didn’t know how to make the bread bowl. Sadly, I cannot put a 1/4 of a star here. My suggestion is that they train all the employees on how to prepare ALL the food they offer.
Even if you think you're not a soup fan, you should try Zoup! They have hefty portions including sandwiches and wraps of soup that will leave you feeling satisfied and happy that you're eating healthier options. They even have vegetarian and vegan options. In fact, I tried the Lemon Roasted Vegetable Broth Bowl and it was not only SO good, but SO satisfying and filling. Polite staff, well laid out with attention to detail. 5 full stars.
Would not recommend! Staff were rude and unwelcoming. Yes and we had a large group that trickle in but it was well after the lunch time rush. We tried to inform the restaurant before arriving but their phone wasn’t working. Rude comments were made to minor children about the influx of customers. Food was mediocre and over expensive. Questions were not answered and orders not fulfilled properly. When we attempted to pay in cash a pen was slammed on the counter and rudely taken.
Hello, I placed an order just after 1:15pm and picked it up around 1:30pm. Unfortunately, when we got home, the bag did not have one of the items I paid for. A 12 oz El Grande Chilli. I tried to call the restaurant right away, as I work from home and am unable to walk all the way back right away to get the order fixed. The phone just rings and rings and then goes back to the welcome message. I tried for 25 minutes before trying to see if I can reach someone through google review instead. The food we did get was wonderful, but there were no customers in the store at all when we picked the food up, two employees behind the counter, and yet our order was wrong and no one is answering the phone.
Good soup, great sandwich, a little pricey but not terrible. This was our 1st time there so we got confused over the ordering process but the staff was quick to help. All in all a good experience.
Soup seafood chowder is ok but skip the Mac & cheese. The noodles are undercooked and it’s more soupy than cheesy too much liquid. The Mac is served half cold as well.
I don’t know how they stay in business with such irregular hours open. Every time I come here during their supposed hours open they’re never open. So I’ve given up on trying to come here to buy their soup. It’s really sad. I guess I have to start making my own soup. :
Soup tasted good but omg was it expensive. 15$ for a bowl of soup get outta here. I could make a whole pot at home for that price. Talk about yuppedy
